  13. EEEK!! Im excited!!! Ok ...so Not only am I doing JC but through my insurance I have an app called Brook+ and basically I do the same thing as on the JC app...like logging weight...food...activity etc. And I have an accountability coach through that app too...Anyhow I was sent for free a digital wi-fi scale to help record my weight loss and it automatically tells me how much I lost since the last time I stepped on the scale..how cool is that?. Today I get an email that told me I was eligible to get a free FitBit through my insurance and this app...Now I already have the Charge 3, the free one is the Inspire2, I may get it and give it to my husband, to help HIM track his activity too. His bday is coming up in June. My OTHER fantastic news is that in just 6 days Ive lost 3lbs on RRMax! I wasnt expecting that...I still have 1 more day to go so Im VERY excited! I really needed this visual of seeing the weight drop on the app! I just keep telling myself I can do this.... Every day is a challenge, every day I succeed! This selfie of me was taken 2 days ago...I posted it on Facebook with the following quote... “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."

  14. Just started the Rapids Results Max today. Im a previous Platinum member from many years ago. I have between 60-75lbs to lose...65 is a good goal for me and puts me in thinner but curvy build. I just turned 50 in February and Im just so disgusted and disappointed in myself. Last week when we were getting ready to go out to a nice dinner...even my husband couldnt find anything for me to wear that fit....thats when HE knew it was time to get back on JC. I lost 10lbs and lots of inches last time, but between then and now, Ive had several surgeries and a now a herniated dis thats has prevented me form being as active as Id like to be. After nearly losing my husband to a surprise Bilateral pulmonary Embolism in his lungs due to undiagnosed DVT, we decided that enough was enough and we are taking charge of our health. I talked to my JC coach Monday and I already LOVE her! We have a lot in common and I cant wait to meet her in person! Im hoping to get to know at least a few of you and get and bring support to you! Thanks! Shell

  15. Dang I cant believe i've already dropped 43 pounds on this diet since early november 2020. It has been interesting, but i am loving it and determined to reach my goal and drop another 22 pounds hopefully by summer time who knows.

  18. Hi my name is Dawn and I’m joining Jenny for the 2nd time in my life. In the 90’s I was pretty happy w my results on it. I lost around 67 lbs. fast forward years later. Last year during quarantine I started the keto diet. In 6 months I dropped over 53lbs. But then I hit a plateau in November and was frustrated. I’ve been slowly creeping back into carbs and sugar. Started gaining weight back. Probably bc it’s tough to give up any good for life. Jenny is great in that it’s moderation of all foods. I’m hoping this will be the final program for me and I can get off the last 45 lbs. it’s been a constant struggle my entire life and I’m tired. Tired of letting my weight ruin my life. I just turned 50 and want to enjoy the 2nd half of my life happy and healthy. Here’s to all of us and our future success!! 💕☺️

  19. Hello JC community! I just started Rapid Results Max this past Monday. So today is day 4! I am going on 52 and I am so unhealth and miserable! I am working from home and so it is so much harder to eat well and exercise! That is why i decided to try the Rapid Results Max with my food/menu planned for me and delivered to my door! I am doing "baby steps" with regards to exercise. I am trying to do laps across my apartment a few times a day (in between working. I work on my computer taking incoming customer service calls). I need to lose well over 100 lbs (i'm too embarrassed to say how much more over 100 lbs I need to lose)! I am hoping that this new JC program will be the assistance I need to achieve my health and weight goals!

  21. Day 1 in progress. It is 1:45 and I have already logged 60 ounces of water and green tea. I didn't sleep so well last night and therefore, did not get up before work to exercise. The plan is to get off work and go for a walk, weather permitting. Otherwise, I will get on the elliptical at home. So far so good in the food department. I certainly do not feel hungry since I am eating more often now than I was before. I do like that about Jenny; eating small portions all throughout the day. One of my downfalls was not eating much at all early in the day, then being famished and overeating later in the day. I posted a picture here to remind us all to Drink our Water! Enjoy.

  22. Hi all! I am doing JC for the second time (did it with great success after my first baby (almost 4 years ago). Now after baby #2 and a pandemic full of bad eating habits, my hubby is joining me. Just saying hey!

  26. I am thrilled to say I'm down 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I owe my success to following everything to a tee. I weigh my fresh and free plus track everything on the app. I love mornings when I get my recharge bar and coffee.

  27. Restarting after being gone a year and it feels great! I have found it very helpful this time around to have cut up condiments ready in my fridge to add to my meals, like onions, peppers, mushrooms. It makes everything more filling and tasty!

  30. Return Client. I started the beginning of January 2021. I have lost 33.8 lbs . In the beginning it was really slower than I anticipated, but I added walking and its been a steady 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week. My coach Tamika is wonderful. I am 4 pounds away from my half-way point.

  32. Ive been walking on my treadmill this week, 30 minutes minimum. I have asthma and COPD and a herniated disc in my L4/S1 so its been tough for me, but Im pushing through...I know that losing the weight will drastically help ease the pain in my back as well as help my arthritis! I have several friends on their own journey...with WW and 75hard and others. We are all roughly the same age within a couple years of each other so we all know the aches and pains of our ages LOL! They have been instrumental in helping to keep me accountable and motivated...seeing them succeed daily makes ME want to succeed as well. Last month my friend Kim and I made a dinner date...for tonight...at some Crab place...Im hoping that there will be enough on the menu that I can eat and substitute things for...if not...well Im kinda screwed. I know that she will support my meal decisions as she is also a trainer and has been trying to get me to start boxing with her and her Fiance' that owns a gym...soon maybe...its something I know Id be good at....seeing as I am also a black belt in Taekowndo! There is SO much I want to do and this weight and my health are preventing me UGHH! soon...I just keep telling myself...soon! Thanks for reading! Maybe something I say here rings true for a few of you as well!

  33. Hi everyone! I’m new here. The pandemic through a curve ball at me as it did with some of you I’m sure. It’s been a year of healthiness and I’m looking forward to being better than I was before the pandemic ever hit! I’m excited to start a new journey! My food is on its way but I’ve already started making changes that I thought were insignificant but have proved to be really helpful. It’s great to be here! Thank you for listening.

  34. Does anybody ever feel the need for cheat/treat meals or days while on Jenny Craig? When I first joined, barely 3 weeks ago, I said, "Every month for doing good I'm going to give myself a treat/cheat day" Now, it's down to, "Maybe just give myself a treat/cheat meal and a good stiff drink" Honestly, the food makes me feel like I don't need a treat/cheat day or meal. But I'm getting that drink!

  35. I am back again, hopefully for the final time. I have done Jenny Craig 2 or 3 times in the past, and each time I lost approx. 20 pounds and then would quit for one reason or another. I just ordered my first week of food online. I have my first meeting with my coach on Saturday. My thought process was that I wanted to get my first shipment of food ordered so I could be ready to start shortly after meeting with her, rather than wait another week to get going. Wish me luck! I wish all of those just starting and those who are on a continuing journey the best of luck.

  38. Hey, all! I'm returning to JC after a hiatus of about 8 years. (I actually used to be a Program Director/Assistant Center Director 10 years ago...so, somewhat involved ;)) I'm on week two and I'm so happy to be back. I honestly think a lot of the foods taste better now, and I'm in such a better place mentally for this. At forty, I love my body more and that makes this easier--not so much up and down emotionally. Doing the Jenny MAX program, and I'm just living for the convenience and steady loss. Here's to 25 pounds off! (5 down so far!)

  39. My food came and I started yesterday and I love it! Yeah!! I truly believe this time I can do this! I’ve tried so many things, and had almost lost hope. But I have a great counselor and I’m starting to believe in me again!💕💕❤️❤️🐾🐾

  41. Hi everyone! I found an amazing group on FB . It's called Jenny Craig Members Motivational Support Group. Just type in the heading of fb to find it then click on JOIN. they will have to approve you, which only took a few hours. There is so much information there and the member answer you and help! Good Luck and hope to see you there!

  42. @Catrinaa14 I just make a cafe latte on my own. I use a good quality coffee (i.e. Starbucks, Tom Horton's, organic mold free coffee, etc. (whatever's on sale) and heat and froth my milk and add to strong coffee. It's very tasty. Be sure to brew your coffee strong, or if you're using a Keurig, make 2 short brews or use 2 K-cups with max 4-6oz H2O. You'll have to play around to get the taste right. I don't put sugar in mine and I prefer organic whole milk, but also enjoy it with almond- cashew (high protein milk substitute) too. I'm sure you'll make an excellent Barista!😀

  43. I am not happy about the fish and chips being discontinued. I do not eat a lot of chicken and beef and this was the ONLY other option! Nutrasystem has fish… I hope they reconsider and bring it back. I just spoke to 2 other people that are on JC and they are equally upset.

  44. Full transparency - Last night, I fell off the wagon y'all... Full binge mode. No excuses (though I have plenty in my head). Honestly, for me, it is especially tough after binging because it just adds fuel to the "you might as well give up" narrative. But it's a new day. Forgiving and forging ahead! 🎈🎠 (giving myself a balloon and getting back on the merry-go-round)

  45. When I scan a bar code on a non JC item, like mixed nuts, does the app take into account all the nutrition stats? I did not buy JC snacks so I went with nuts. The item appeared properly but I don't know if it accounted for the calories, etc. Is there a place to see what calories were actually consumed? I've chosen 1200 cal Simple Plan but I'm not certain if I am staying in the zone with the Other Foods (scant oil, butter etc.) Down this week 5.8 lbs, WOOOO HOOOOO

  46. I quit smoking 6 months ago. Of course, everybody knows what happens when you stop; you gain weight. I have been on Jenny Craig in the past and it worked really well for me. I started 4 days ago and only weigh myself once a week so will update at that time.

  47. Noticed today that everything is easier. Walking up the stairs. Bringing in the trash cans. I'm in week 2 and I just have more energy! I think it's partially because of all the fruit and veggies but also because I went on the stationary bike and treadmill for a few days Committing to my health, my longevity. Going to try strength training today as I know that's important too. Thanks for being on this site to support each other!

  48. I have been watching "my 600-lb life" and it has created a couple of different reactions in me. On the one hand, I am horrified while on the other hand...I can empathize with the out-of-control eating. I'm also inspired by the courageous and dramatic weight loss experienced by so many people. I have noticed I have been out of breath when I climb the stairs and I can feel my heart thumping away in response to my bigger size (5'6" 230 lbs). I'm 46 and the last 40 pounds came on quickly, as a result of taking medicine that had the unfortunate side effect of weight gain (no longer on this). I was able to maintain my prior weight, of 190 lbs for quite a long time without gains. This gives me optimism that I will be able to maintain weight if I lose it. When I get back to 190, who knows.. Maybe I will have the endurance and will power to do the next 40. That would be amazing. I was 150 pounds during my 20s and would like to believe it is possible again. I used to be able to wear so many clothes and I didn't struggle to exercise. I think my neck pain would be reduced because my posture would be improved. My father was obese and I see the overweight propensity in my cousins as well. But my mother is small and this gives me optimism (I guess I have half of the battle won! ). I will try to remember this as I fight to be a smaller person. I want to feel like I once did: capable, strong, able to move freely, healthy, and vital. I see these people who have lost weight with calorie reduction and it has restored my faith that it is possible to lose the weight for me too. It's time, it's important, I need to do it now.
