The Jenny Craig program focuses on the food group exchanges which creates a balanced diet within appropriate guidelines from multiple health organizations. We pride ourselves in not having to count calories and worry about getting a nutritionally balanced diet.  Our menus meet the calorie levels clients are advised to follow while meeting the nutritional guidelines of multiple health organizations.  Most of the recipes in the Simple Inspirations cookbook simply use Fresh & Free Additions that do not add a substantial amount of calories.
