A Newbie’s Guide to Jenny Craig – What to expect and why you’ll love it!

What you Can Expect 

When you walk into a Jenny Craig center for the first time, you’re walking into a warm, comfortable, judgment-free place. First, your consultant will explain the program and answer all of your questions while getting to know you. Jenny Craig isn’t a one-size-fits-all program, so you’ll work with your consultant to customize a plan for success! Together, you’ll develop a two-sided commitment that keeps you and your consultant accountable to each other. You’ll then complete your profile by recording your height and weight. You and your consultant will review the Jenny Craig menu and discover all the delicious food you get to eat. No foods are off-limits. Your consultant will keep track of your success with weekly support, weigh-ins and teach you how to self-monitor.

I am heading into week 2 feeling good, learning the ropes and realizing that starving myself is NOT the answer but feeding my body is the key to true weight loss & a healthier lifestyle! I look forward to losing & maintaining this new healthy Me!!

I am excited to start this journey. I am at the weight I was having my second child. I want to love myself in my own skin and know that the time is now to make a difference in my body, because everyday the weight is just going up!!!  The Goal is to drop 25-30lbs and love myself while on the big family vacation in 12 weeks!!!

I am very excited about being on Jenny Craig. Like a lot of others I've tried everything out there. I even tried Jenny before, ten years ago. I have a whole new outlook on life now as my weight has caused quite a few health issues for me. I am ready now, for the first time, truly ready. I am able to accept that the journey to get to this weight wasn't overnight and neither will it be to lose this weight. This is my third week on Jenny and I am doing well, the food is great and the support of my consultant is great. She is awesome. I have a long journey ahead of me and I am looking forward to it.

I'm excited on starting my new journey. With work and age, I haven't taken as good care of myself as I should. I was in a very bad accident 5 years ago which has left me with a lot of pain, so high impact workouts are a no go. I'm hoping that eating a more balanced, healthier diet will help me lose some weight where I can do a little more physically without as much pain. It's been hard to do so on my own as I work a lot of hours and have to commute to work and home. It's so much easier to order food or pick up take out than to have to come home and cook for myself. Having Jenny Craig meals already prepared and ready to heat will be a great help for me. I'm looking forward to it :)
