Tricia and Nick Swapped Fast Food for Healthy Meals and Lost 236 lbs* with Jenny Craig

*Members following Classic Program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs./wk. Typical weight loss on Rapid Results is 11.6 lbs. in the first four weeks and 1-2 lbs./wk. thereafter. Tricia lost 95 lbs. on Classic Program and 54 lbs. thereafter on Rapid Results. Nick lost 70 lbs. on Classic Program and 17 lbs. thereafter on Rapid Results. Tricia and Nick received promotional consideration.
 

Tricia and Nick Hensley’s typical Friday night included fast food, copious amounts of soda and more than one dessert. Their daytime snacks consisted of candy, chips, ice cream and more soft drinks. Although they both knew their lifestyle was not healthy, they would still find every excuse to lounge on the couch when they had free time.

Tricia tells PEOPLE, “We’d get two large pizzas, two orders of the bread, hot wings, the dessert — two different kinds of dessert because you can’t just choose one — and then soda, of course. We would consume four cases of soda a week at home, and more while out.”


But when Tricia won two trial memberships for Jenny Craig in a contest at a local dress shop, she knew it was a sign to make a change. Knowing how important losing weight was to Tricia, Nick agreed to join the program with her.

“All the work’s done for you, so all I had to do was follow the menu, which was great because I’m really good at having a plan and focusing on it,” Tricia shares with PEOPLE. 


By setting small, attainable goals to start, Tricia and Nick were motivated by reaching each milestone.

Nick tells PEOPLE, “I never really thought of myself as being overweight or big like that until seeing the pictures now.” Tricia feels the same way.  “I am extremely proud of myself,” she shares with PEOPLE. “Ultimately, my favorite thing about our weight loss is that we did it together. This journey has brought us closer as a couple, showing us that together we can do anything.”
