Over the years, I’ve joined a variety of exercise classes, avoided my fair share of carbs, and tried to eat lots of veggies. Big-boned is how I’d describe myself. I’ve always enjoyed a good glass of wine (or more) and a piece (or two) of cake, but overall, I considered myself to be a healthy eater. After both of my pregnancies, I’d put on a few pounds, but my weight really became a problem after turning 40. I was looking at vacation photos and I could barely recognize myself. I had gained 20 pounds in a year, without feeling like I’d done anything differently.

Meeting weekly with my personal coach was a big key to my success. I found the one-on-one consultations to be effective, efficient, and a perfect blend of accountability with a personal touch. It took away the thinking, planning and excuses out of weight loss which was ideal for my busy lifestyle.
The delicious food was perfectly portioned with lots of variety from day to day. I loved the fact that the menu was balanced. Doing active things with my kids in the evening, like taking a family bike ride, is what I look forward to instead of just focusing on what’s for dinner (or dessert).
