Week 2 is coming to an end!



Hello errybody!

I am definitely not surprised so far with my results because I have been on Jenny Craig once before and I just want to start off by saying that I really regret ever going off the diet. Now that I have finished my second week I am really starting to feel more energy and motivated to continue with my weightloss. Last Wednesday, my weigh in said that I lost 8.7 pounds and I am not expecting a huge drop like that again this week, but I am still excited to see the scale for once! I am really enjoying the feeling of being excited to step on the scale each week and seeing results rather than running away and hiding anytime I hear a word that resembles 'scale' like I used to be. This week was really difficult with thanksgiving, but I know the holidays are the worst and I am completely ready to go full force towards success!

Last week I didn't do much exercise, but I am committing to an hour speed walk each night, which I am sure my puppy is enjoying just as much as I have. I am really hoping it helps with my weight loss, but I can't help but feel like I could have better results using something such as a treadmill or exercise bike. However, I just cannot get motivated to do that! Maybe, next week I will try my best to use some exercise equipment. Have any of you had really good success so far with walking or noticed that it really helped in shedding a couple extra pounds?

You need to start gradually... if you try to go from not much activity to hardcore treadmill or bike you will burn out much faster and you'll shock your body. When I was leaving in Africa I walked everywhere! In just 6 months I lost over 30 lbs. Now there were other factors but honestly, walking had a lot to do it with it. When I got back to America I put the weight back on in half the time since we drive everywhere. Good luck... if and when you start the treadmill start with 5-10 mins and work your way up each week.
