I am getting super amped to get measured on Wednesday. This week held a lot of, not so much temptation, but obstacles. It was a little hard to stick to my plan because I had two huge family social events. The first day I was a little bit more lax since I didn't have a microwave handy but, honestly, it helped me to keep my act together at the second event.

Regardless, I put on a pair of pants this weekend that was a size 22 (not stretchy!) instead of a 26. I am much more excited this week about my measurements than how much I lost in poundage. I mean, I would still love to see 5 pounds down, but, I don't think this week that will be in the cards.

I am so happy that I got started and that I feel like I have a good reality on what I need to do and what it will take. lalalalala-LOVE everything today... better go to bed while I'm ahead. Good night :)

As my husband would say (in his native language Hausa) "Sannu sannu ba ta hana zuwa" Slowly, slowly, doesn't prevent getting there. And finally, in my favorite (and our shared) language "Doucement, doucement, t'empeche pas de reussir"
