Week 3 Weigh-In




blog-0361733001349313271.jpgI was a little worried about my weigh-in this week. I didn't feel that I accomplished the goals I had set for myself this week. I didn't get out and walk enough for multiple different reasons. I also had two days where I was faced with unexpected food choices.

The first was Friday when we had an office pot luck at work. Someone had planned to make beef vegetable soup to bring so I was thought, "Great, that will be my go to" ... well she ended up making carmel apple pizza instead... um?? I hadn't brought my Jenny breakfast or lunch since Friday's we go home earlier than normal but I was hungry! I ate a cup of my shredded chicken dish and some fruit and stayed clear of that delicious smelling pizza and chips! Crisis somewhat averted.

The second unexpected event was going to my Grandpa's house to meet with some of his family from Kansas. We were at a soccer game when my dad called us short notice to invite us. I didn't have any food, obviously with me but my dad was able to bring some salad along so I could have something on my plan. I again, stuck with the grilled chicken but, I will not lie, I couldn't keep my paws off of the beer bread and the hawaiian dip... yum! But, one small victory is that I did not eat NEAR as much as I would have before Jenny. I decided on four small pieces and stuck to it.

I have two events this weekend but already discussed with my consultant what my plan's were to stay on the plan. Goooo team! This picture was taken 9/29/12 at a Crew (professional soccer) game.

Its all about progress not perfection. At least you are learning your triggers and you will be able to be more prepared next time! :)
