Dreams of Chipotle




I LOVE CHIPOTLE... The only restaurant I actually miss is Chipotle. When I was in Niger and the closest Chipotle was over 3,000 miles away, I would have vivid dreams of swimming in olympic pool sized burrito bols. I loved me some steak burrito bols... But, I've been strong.

Last night I even went to Chipotle on the way home from a friend's house to buy my husband a burrito before he went to work since I didn't have time to make him something else. I thought I would be more tempted to just get myself something, especially considering I can rationalize myself around anything. It was weigh-in day, I could eat what I want and then just be super strong the rest of the week. But, I didn't. Instead I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and beef with some added cajun seasoning.

Instead of asking what the food that is most missed I'd like to know, what is everyone's favorite Jenny food? Any creative modifications I should try to zest up a meal? Come on, all, I'm dying for some comments, purty please?

I'll share one... Yesterday I was just worn out of plain salad so I used my southwestern chicken and rice lunch and turned my salad into taco salad (minus the taco). I threw the meal on top of my lettuce, used some of the ranch, and added garlic powder and cajun seasoning.

like your taco salad idea:) maybe an avocado slice on there too? I'm still only on week two so learning how to spice it up myeslf. Thanks for sharing
