Day 5

Paula Schreiner

Joined JC on Saturday - Met with Amber... she was very helpful and encouraging :) I will be meeting with my coach Tonya on Saturday for the first time. So far I have done pretty good. Only had one "OPPS" on my grand-daughters birthday. I have been very satisfied with my food and must say the food taste much better than one of the other programs I was on! I dont like to cook, so having my meals prepared for me is SOOOOO nice. I have been walking for the past 3 days, 6 miles on Tues, 3 miles Wed., and 6 miles today. Hopfully I will see some pounds gone when I meet with Tonya on Saturday :D

Wow, Paula, sounds like u are off to a great start! My 1st week just happened to fall on the week my club had its annual pot luck dinner. I didn't GAIN anything, but I didn't lose either. So the next week I followed JC exactly and lost almost 4 lbs! I've been on JC b4 and always lost at least 2 lbs a week. And I agree with u, that OTHER weight loss program has nasty tasting food. I love almost every item on this program.

I too am on day 5! I have stuck to the program almost perfectly! The only thing I am struggling with is the amount of milk and yogurt. Any ideas to change things up a bit. :) Anyone have a unique flavor of yogurt to change things up?

I love Cascade Farms Lemon Chiffon yogurt.

I get a bowl the size of a rice bowl, pour my yogurt in and then mix in my fruit. I use berries and being summer it is the perfect time for blueberries, blackberries, strawberries.

For my almonds I use them earlier in the day in my salad

Thanks! I love lemon flavor. Going to have to try that! I have been putting a yogurt, frozen strawberries and ice in a blender. Stirring in fresh berries is a good idea. Lately, I am loving blackberries!
