Orange Theory Weight Loss Challenge

So On JC I have lost  a lot of weight -and am very grateful.. However - I decided to finish strong... or transition to maintenance strong... 

Sol today i got weighed in at the gym for my OT Weight Loss challenge - supposedly 6 weeks but officially starts Monday - so it's a bit longer.

So weight was 154.4 I think (with sneakers). We were told to wear a tight outfit. So I sort of liked working out in the outfit... Anyway I am amazed that I am this thin (in clothes) and I know I don't have much to lose.. just getting to my goal of 145. (and I have a pair of jeans or two to fit into .. so these few pounds will help).

 

Anyway here are the before photos. To be eligible for the prize for top percentage lost I have to attend class in my home gym 3 times a week - which may be hard if I travel. Also I cant possibly win - as 7 lbs I think it about 4% so that cant be the winning amount??? I would love to be able to do a pushup at the end of this. I think Ill go do some now (limited as they are - because I really cant push my body weight up)  :) Hoping the picture of me seated is a bit better at the end of six weeks... but you never know. I cant imagine 7 lbs will be all that visible at this stage.

Gosh!! You are THIN!!!! You look fabulous!  Do you mind sharing a before photo? You give me inspiration!

Wow!!! Wow!!! WOWWWWWW!!!!  You look fabulous! You've done so well and that has to make you feel pumped!!!

 

I had to laugh because I had the same bathing suit when I was at around 225 but you looked so much better than I did and probably because I'm shorter!  I could kick myself for letting myself go like I did....AGAIN!!! ugh!

 

Thanks so much for posting the pictures! I love the one of you with your face also! Shows how beautiful you are! Congrats! Hope you hang around while I try to get to where you started at!!

I bet there will be a big difference in the 7 pounds and more definition.

You look great!  How tall are you?  I'm 5'1" so I have NO room to gain one pound.  Since I gained nearly 30, I have a long time left.  Just started Monday, April 10th.

Hi Kim - Welcome aboard... I am 5' 7.5"  and apparently 6.6 lbs from goal. Ridiculous. Just tried on size 8 and they fit at Ann Taylor.. A definite thin people's store. So crazy!!!! I have no idea how I got here (TY FoRUM!!)

Hi there, you are looking great. I appreciate your dedication towards your weight. I am also overweight and trying to lose it. I have started a regular workout, but not seen any changes in my body. While discussing with my friend, he suggested me this site which provides weight losing products and guides to lose weight. Any suggestions?

I clicked the link and it was for detox tea? Not sure that's a workout site? Anyway my tips for working out:

1) make sure dr oks it

2) make sure each workout has you sweating...so for my Orangetheory class I do 28 minutes of cardio high intensity training... so warmup then 2 minutes at base pace, 1 minute push pace and 30 seconds all out 

 

then I do body weights  exercises  to strengthen core burpees, planks , crunches, planks, push-ups etc. as well as scone cardio  thrown in..the rower is our usual choice as it works all the muscle  groups.
