I have very little words to describe how happy I'm to be down 11 pounds. This journey has been difficult, but once I set my mind to do it, it has been very rewarding. Sure it has been hard that I can't go to my favorite cafes and get a tasty pastry and coffee... now I just get the coffee and drink it while I eat a protein bar and walk my baby around the city.


Being pregnant wasn't easy for me, gaining 60 pounds was hard and the hardest part is looking at yourself in the mirror and not recognizing your own face. I can say I feel great about taking control of my life again. Having a three month old baby doesn't leave much time for me, but I feel this, Jenny is what I'm doing for myself and I treasure it.


Life is good,11 pounds down 30 more to go!

Congrats Camis on your new baby.  It is so easy while pregnant to put weight on.  You don't want to diet because you are feeding two.  You will get to goal sooner than you think.  :)

Way to go!  Its crazy just reading this I can picture you at the cafe! Losing 11 pounds and doing this for 4 weeks takes a lot of dedication and hard work. I have been on this journey 8 days - and it does not compare but I know the dedication... feeling it anyway. can't wait to have 4 weeks elapse and me on this journey. by that time you will be 7 weeks on this journey.... Wahoo!!

Congrats on the baby Camis & the 11lbs!


I have a similar story - had my first baby, Maggie, in March and also gained a lot of weight with the pregnancy. I tried a few things to lose weight after Maggie was born, but was having a really hard time sticking to anything. I was starting to feel really bad about myself - when I would see photos of myself with my baby I was so embarrassed about how big I had gotten. Jenny is working really well for me so far. I am in my third week and weigh in again on Saturday. I'm hoping to lose about 60lbs in total.


I'm mostly really loving the program, the food is amazing and I'm learning ways to feel feel with veggies, salads, and homemade soups using ingredients from the unlimited foods. The program is expensive, but I'm realizing how much I was relying on ordering food in and going through the drive-thru before I started the program. I'm probably spending about what I was before, but at least now I'm spending money on food that I know is good for me and is helping me lose weight! I am definitely missing some of my favourite restaurants and sweets, but in the long-run I know my weight loss is more important than ordering in thai food... hahaha. *priorities*, hahaha. It also really helps that I don't have to cook as much with the baby, that I can pop a nutritious meal into the microwave, and it doesn't take long to whip up a salad. My husband is so supportive and sweet and keeps reminding me of how proud of me he is. On days I'm having a hard time it really helps.
