What I have been doing wrong




I think I have been trying to do too much at once.  I want to lose fat and build muscle.  This not impossible, but for me it is not working.  I always want to workout.  I think what I need to do is concentrate on sticking to the diet.  I always think that I am "smarter" than everyone else.  I think that I know it all. If I do, why am I overweight?

MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT. I know in the past when I over workout I just get more hungry and then I seem to bulk up which is not what I am trying to accomplish! Start with shorter workouts and drink more water and maybe it will be easier to stick to the Jenny Craig plan. Don't give up, We can do this! 

I also will try to take my own advice here. At least you are a motivated person some people can not even get off the couch. Again, We Can Do This!

you can't do everything at once, I started with the diet, for 6 months I just walked. Now Im slowly adding weights. The people who run out and buy every single thing at once will fail. We all know the right things to do, its just temptation in this world around every corner. I have learned, if Im at an event for example, its okay to have some wine or cake, just take a long walk and no jenny dessert that night. Baby steps! Don't beat yourself up.

I am one of those people who try to change everything at once.  I now set myself up better.  I set a time frame on things.  Example. I signed up at Curves to work out.  It is an easy start.  Waited two weeks and started walking.  Now i have started JC.  A couple more weeks and I will add some weight resistence.  I have to remind myself to go slow and be consistent is better.  It is not a race, it is a better journey.  It helps me to read all the comments on line.  Keeps me from snacking.  Thank you.
