Day 1... again

Hello everyone. I have decided to write this blog as a form of encouragment to everyone out there who is struggling like me.
For a while now I have not felt good about my weight, with people saying things like "if you don't like it change it" so finally I have decided to take charge and do just that.
I started going to Jenny Craig a few weeks ago, my first week I lost 4 pounds! I couldn't believe it I immediately texted my mom who congratulated me on this succes. But then things went downhill one thing or another kept me from actually doing the diet, and for the next 2 weeks I didn't loose and weigh but I did not put any on either. That all changed today when I went to meet with my consultant only to find out I actually put on a pound. Now I now that that does not sound like much, but to me it felt like it. It felt like all the hard work I put on that first week and all that excitement slowly faded away.
So I have decided that I need encouragement, I have friends who do not like the fact that I am on a diet, who do not appreciate what it feels like to feel bad about your weight and pictures because you are "so pretty" and this is why I have decided to start this blog. To document my success, talk about my failing, hopefully read all the messages and comments you all leave and maybe this way we can encourage each other. how? easy, I will read you comments and know that there are people our there going through this, because, it's easy enough to imagine but I want to hear about it -or read it in this case- and reading my blog I hope will do the same for you.

Wishing you LOTS of luck, and know that there is lots of support and understanding here. It can be very tough trying to change your lifestyle when those closest to you aren't very supportive. But it can be done. I have found these boards to be helpful and I have made some wonderful friends.

Stay focused, work hard. You are worth all the effort!
