Fair Food

Okay its two days away, I am going to the county fair. I am a foodie when I go to the fair I love my corn dogs, funnel etc., I want to enjoy the fair and eat too. I do not want to go off of jc food but I also don't want to stay on jc food for that one day. I am confused. I am frustrated and mad at myself. i am so confused

Liz, you should enjoy yourself and give in a little. In the beck diet solutions it states that if you want something you should eat 2 bites and this should satisfy the craving. I would consider splitting some of the food with a family member (this way you don't end up eating the whole thing). Remember JC is a long time solution and most of us end up cheating at one time or another. You just need to have your cheats and remember to not beat yourself up and get right back on JC the next day.

Liz, I'm a loooooonnnnng time JC member, but I just started on this online community. I saw your post. You will have ups and downs, that's for sure. But I'm curious. You posted on the 15th and today's the 19th. Have you been to the fair already? If so, I'm curious as to what you ate and how you felt afterwards? And you can be honest here....

I went to the fair on 6/17. I started trying to hold back at the fair but I had the first corn dog and I lost it. I felt great while I was at the fair, the food was fantastic. It was the next day when the guilt set in and having a hard time to get back on it. I am also feeling guilty or being on Jenny Craig because it is soo expensive.

Stop kicking yourself, we all cheat. Move onward and upward. You know your weak spot now. Do something positive and focus on that. You can do it !
