It can be the protein bars that we eat. I know it gives me gas. I have been on JC for 8 weeks....the first month I got cramps and really bad gas from the bars. Now my body seems used to it. No cramps and less gas.

could be all the milk products if you were not a huge milk drinker. Not to mention all the fresh fruit and veggies. Try using lactose free milk ~ it is awesome ~ It may take a few weeks for your sustem to adjuat to the new diet ~ I am finishing week 3 and the gas problem seems to have improved for me

Dr. Oz recommends Caraway seeds for bloating and gas. Take after meals for prevention of bloating and discomfort. I dont suffer with gas so I havent tryed it but Dr. Oz's recomendations are usually great.

Same with me. Started Sunday and I have been bloated. It has calmed down some now though. I am guessing it was all that fiber, but after a while the discomfort passes. :)

Totally could be the extra fiber in the program. Your body will adjust... It happened for me. I know some friends that were on it could not handle the Anytime Bars.

Maybe you can do a trail and eliminate the Anytimbe Bar for a week and see if it helps. Just make sure to substitute a Mlik serving plus a multi vitamin in place for those Anytime Bars.

Its hard to give up those Anytime Bars though because they are such a yummy snack!

OH! You can maybe think about cutting it up in little pieces and having it through out the day - maybe that could help???
