Scale watcher?

Are you a scale watcher? How often are you weighing yourself? Or are you only weighing at JC? I tell myself to only weigh-in at JC, but it's so hard. I weigh myself every day against my better judgment. I'm the type of person that likes instant results. I know that's not logical, but it doesn't stop me from doing it. I mean surely if you are only eating 1200 calories a day and exercising you will lose weight each week. So, in turn, that should mean the scale should move at least a little each day, right?!? When the scale doesn't move in the right direction or worse it moves in the wrong direction, I start to wonder what I'm doing wrong. I know I can't be the only scale watcher! How do you control yourself from stepping on the scale every day or worse several times a day? I'm going to try to hide the scale from myself for the rest of this week. My second weigh-in is on Wednesday.

my mother always told me to HIDE THAT SCALE! I do not believe in being a scale watcher because I think it would drive me insane. I think it's a way of setting yourself up for disappointment. I feel it's more beneficial to weigh yourself once a week at Jenny so that you can see the difference from last week (it feels like a bigger loss)

I would only weigh myself extra within the week if I had an off-day. That would keep me on track if I saw the scale budge in the wrong direction.
