I'm Not Quick to Abandon

This is a super short entry as I get ready for work. I'm on a temporary schedule change at work, so I'm going in earlier and not able to stay up as late. So, I'll probably be spotty on my entries for the next 2-3 weeks. After that I'll be back on regular schedule and entries will be up every night. As of right now, my biggest win of the week is that I've worked out every day, and not eaten fast food.



What a day...

My best guy friend likes a girl. This is good, especially since I really wondered if he'd ever get over the harpy who ripped his heart out and tap danced on it a few years ago. It's also hard, though. The only reason he and I have become such good friends is because of what happened with the harpy. When she dumped him, I was in the middle of being unemployed. We were both really depressed, and found that we were kindred spirits. It's one of those rare friendships where we can say anything



Done With Week 1

I kid you not, right now I want to raid the fridge and eat everything in sight. *Sigh* Back in 2010 when I did JC for the first time, my first week weigh in was amazing. I was down 7 pounds, and I distinctly remember that I wasn't that well behaved that week. Last week I returned to JC after being gone 2.5 years. This last week I was good. I ate right. I exercised. More than once. When I got weighed this morning, not only had I not lost, I had gained. Seriously? Seriously! Not fair
