I tried the new protein Cheerios and they are very good. A nice , economical alternative to JC cereals, but with more protein. Just thought I'd share if anyone hasn't tried them. Of course you have to measure your portion!

just checked it out and a 1/4 of a cup is the serving size with 210 calories for the 7 grams of protein -

yes the serving is 1 1/4 cup!! I'd never buy one that serving was only 1/4 cup. A cup is large enough serving for me and it has more protein and fiber than JC cereals

how many less calories for the multigrain Cheerios? Do they have any fiber?

There are 110 calories in a 1 cup serving with 2 gr protein, 3 gr fiber and 1 gr fat. Really tasty..a bit sweetened..I like to eat them dry..one or two at a time! Then I'll have my Greek yogurt and fruit. Makes a good breakfast..

Thanks for the tip, I will try them as a snack with a tablespoon of peanut butter.

Have you tried PB2? Regular peanut butter has 190 calories per 2 tbs and 16 grams of fat...PB2 has only 45 calories per 2 Tbs and 1.5 grams of fat. So you could have 2 Tbs of peanut butter for a lot less calories and fat! (I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk instead of water ;) )
