Hi I am hoping someone has some guidance for me. I cannot have anything than a dietary fiber of 3. So that REALLY, limits my amount of options for lunch/dinner. I was wondering if I can do 2 breakfast's a day and one lunch/dinner???
Hi guys! Well tomorrow is weigh in at the center! I think I lost 20 lbs this week. So likely will be disappointed!
Ok ok so I have been trying stuff. This week I had French toast or pancakes. Is it ok if. Order 7 pancakes?
Samething on on rest of meals:
b 7 for toasts
l a few chicken kits and rest burgers
d 2 chick pot pies and 5 lasagnas?
Snack 7 anytime bars
snack 7 chocolate lava cakes
snack 7 vanilla shakes?
thoughts? I guess the complication is I will be away in hotel maybe unless I make it a day trip? For work... Lunch out and maybe dinner too.
Will do do salad at lunch and chick salad kit
breakfast I could pack JC cereal....
dinner... Maybe at seasons 52 salad and piece of steamed chicken eat a morsel

For the newbies! The first week is really hard, then if you only eat at home and live alone it's easy... (Me) . I'll let you know about when I venture out into the world next week. My point is this program starts out hard and gets easier!! Then eventually I am sure gets harder when you hit maintenance. But for me, it's working and I am so glad we are doing this!! Wish me luck on weigh in at 3 tomorrow.
Question for y'all/. It's Day 3 and I have had my salads with lunch and cooked veggies with my dinner. Dinners have been 1) lasagna, 2) Italian Pasta Bake and 3) Fettuccine Alfredo. Small quantities...but so easy. I have been adding frozen green beans that I steam in microwave two of the nights and frozen broccoli another night. My goal is to keep it simple and low calorie - I am a quantity girl...so end up eating 1 package of green beans (100 calories).
Anyway looking for other veggie ideas that I can add to my meals this week. I'm willing to go shopping... just need a little point in the right direction.
I appreciate your reading and responding...and basically just for being here on the Forum and the journey.

Hi Guys - newbie here....tonight's snack is Key Lime Pie. Do youguys defrost it? In microwave? let it sit out a while? or have it cold?

As I stared jenny, It been hard to do the right thing on the weekends, and plus the time I forget my lunches at work. I been trying to remember to try to stay in tack on the weekend but its been so hard to stay on track and I been staying the same weight, but also I have been feeling different, and looking different, but I see no difference because of my weekends I have not been loosing. I alway say I am going to at least choose on day but been both day of the weekend. This June now into july weekends beeen so busy for me to stay on track. i want stay on track but it been so hard.
Ideas for forgetting lunches what can I replace with it if I forget for workdays
Ideas for helping to get my weekends together even if I can't use the Jenny Program foods.
It's been only since Thursday that I've stopped consuming the bars and shakes and boy do I feel better! I was really struggling with those food items and now that I'm not eating them, I can honestly say that I've got this! I've also eliminated certain food items for lunch and dinner that cause my stomach grief. I've replaced the bars and shakes with lactose free yogurt and well...there are other shakes out there that have the same nutritional content and I'm having those.
I'm on my way to success and I've already lost another pound since Thursday! Woot!
I just rejoined Jenny, and I bought some dream shakes. Does anyone have any ideas about how to make them taste better (I'm on the 1200 calorie plan, so I don't have too much wiggle room with fruit). Thank you!!
I'm not sure if i can continue on Jenny. I'm someone who has a lot of issues with my digestion. Prior to Jenny I was instructed by my doctor to be dairy free and to eat no processed foods which I did. It had been about 6 months and I was feeling pretty good and sort of put it out of my mind that I had these issues. But now with this processed food plus the bars and shakes and everything else that has a milk product (which is a lot of things), I'm really struggling here. I won't go into the details but let's just say this isn't just an upset tummy. This is interfering with my life!
I will be going tomorrow to get my last weigh in but I think this is going to be it for me. I'm going to have to take what I know from being on Jenny and transfer it to whole foods. I was told by my doctor to "shop the perimeter" of the grocery store because everything in the center is processed. While this is obviously fine for a lot of people, I just can't take it anymore.
I really have to be a lot more discerning with the menus. Some of the food really do a number on my stomach. For one, before I started JC, I was pretty much dairy free. Dairy plays a number on me. While I've been taking my pills to help digest the dairy in JC foods, some of them I just cannot have....the corn chowder played a number on me last night. Oy! Also, a lot of the foods that are not frozen bother me. Plus the kung pao beef. For a few years I've not purchased anything packaged to eat. I usually eat whole foods (no pun intended but I usually shop there lol) and eat no preservatives. Lately my stomach is not happy.
Hopefully I will be able to eliminate all the soups for lunch, the kung pao beef, mesquite chicken and most of the unfrozen meals. I'm doing so well and I don't want to stop but my stomach is miserable!
Does anyone else have this issue?
I just devoured my delicious lunch of JC Kung Pao Beef to which I added a serving of steamed cauliflower rice. I mixed it all up and topped it off with a little sriracha sauce. It was delicious and very filling.
I'm interested in how YOU volumize the Kung Pao Beef entree.
