Gas issues

I just began the program and am having significant problems with cramping and gas. I know i have issues with lactose intolerance so have made adjustments for this problem (am taking lactose pills). However, am finding the vegetables a problem and the grains/noodles an issues as well as beans given some challenges with gluten. Any ideas or suggestions?

For issues with consuming dairy products, you can exchange 1 milk for 2 oz of lean meat or 1 cup of soymilk. Limit your intake of gas producing vegetables and fruits (cabbage, broccoli, onion, melons).

Depending on your calorie level will determine the average intake of fiber you are consuming in a day. You may benefit from temporarily reducing your fiber intake. During your next consultation, ask for your consultant to review the Nutrition Ingredient list. Listed there is a list of all Jenny Craig food items and the fiber/supplemental fiber amount.
