Just For Fun ...

Hello All - Recently, I have accidently run across several old posts I had made way back more near my beginning of losing weight and oh, today they just really tickle me - so happy to weigh 356 pounds! I mean, honest to goodness delighted with my number! In addition I also read a post writen by a dear friend who was in the dumps about current weight (has now lost OVER 100 POUNDS!) ...

So, I suggest you take a stroll back down memory lane yourself and see how much you have changed from your early days on the program and if you read something you find amusing please share as we would all like to read how far you have come;))

Happy New Year to both old and new friends. As you can see, I began my weight loss journey at 398 pounds - today 1/1/14 I now weigh 209 pounds having lost nearly 50 % of my original body weight. Just 10 more pounds and I will have a 1 as my starting number. I can hardly believe it myself.

I still eat JC foods, although I still do a lot of MOMO.

For anyone who weighs nearly 400 pounds, don't give up. It can be done.

When I post in this topic of 200 lbs+, it feel as if I put a note in a bottle, tossed it out into the cyber ocean, hoping that someone will read and feel hope exists. I'm no longer "morbidly obese" however I remain clinically "obese" - I am uncertain at what weight I will be described as just plain "well nourished" translation "stll fat."

As I gained weight, my walking became slower and slower; thus requiring a walker; and finally ending up with an electric chair that I barely fit in. People with 200 lbs+ to shed face rejection from the medical profession, friends, even your own family; which is why this community is such a lifeline. Whether you need to lose 10 lbs or 300 lbs, the acceptance, the warmth, and yes even love, extended here provides compassion so dearly needed.

Should anyone read this comment of mine, without even knowing you, I know how you feel because no one wants to be overweight.

Be of good cheer. There is light at trend of the tunnel. Look for my tiny flashlight waving you on.

You're so close to onederland!!! And yes, why is it that people look down so much on each other? As an overweight person I was guilty of looking down on "skinny" people never knowing their journey and if they had always been that way or not. The moral of the story is to live from your soul and employ the golden rule "treat others how you would like to be treated".

You're rocking this journey, **high five**

My Mister was tickeled by "onederland," and I am four lbs away myself. I plan to continue posting in the 200+, because I relate to the struggles and different challenges we with greater amounts to lose face. I look forward to chatting with you more, and thanks for the kind words.

Back at ya.

Suzanne
