I've heard nothing good about the force, and I've heard nothing bad about the flex. Google the reviews and read them. There hare hundreds!

I did LOTS of research before purchasing and feel fitbit is the best. Which style you get is purely up to you. I have the one. I clip it on my pocket and it measures steps, stairs climbed, calories burned, miles walked and has the time. (it also measures sleep patterns but I don't use that function) It syncs wirelessly to my phone and computer and I love it.

If you want to wear it like a bracelet, then they have the flex & force. The flex does not have a digital display the force does. (There have been complaints about the force giving some wearers a horrible rash.)

http://abclocal.go.c...side&id=9397749

My favorite thing is the app is self (Or the dashboard online) You can see a graph of when you are the most active and such. I also love that it makes you push yourself because you want to beat your friends! Love my fitbit!!!

I've actually heard bad things about the Force because it can come easily off your wrist. It's not an issue with the Flex. I have the flex and love it. I thought about the one that clips to clothing but I know I would lose it.

I had the fitbit one, upgraded to the flex and then I got the force thinking it would provide everything that I wanted. Well, the force is not accurate. If you wave your hand back and forth, it thinks you are walking. I have the same problems as with the fitbit one -- driving adds incorrect steps. I don't have any problem with it falling off my wrist. I am disappointed because I wasted my money.

So far, fitbit flex is best...but it doesn't have a clock, timer or way to know exactly how many steps you are at unless you look at your phone.

One of the things I liked about the flex was it's water resistent. I'm a big sweater so that was a selling point to me :)

I have the flex and love it. I compared the steps walked to a regular pedometer and it was very close. I am allergic to nickel so did not get the force. It is true there is not a digital readout on the flex, but it syncs with my phone all the time for precise readouts or I can tap the flex and use the amount of flashing lights to tell me to get moving. I also love the dashboard and have been using that over MFP at present.

I have the Fitbit Zip and love it. I took the Force back to the store. It caused a slight rash and it was difficult to keep it locked in place on my wrist. Also, I believe it does have issues if you get it wet. I put the Zip on my waist and at the end of each night I sync it on my PC. I get a weekly report with stats on it to keep me in check. LOVE IT. Good luck with your choice.

I had to Fitbit One and I liked it but I wore it on my bra and accidentally put it in the washer and ... it didn't survive.
I got Flex because Force is slightly wider for the purpose of having the display which I really don't need. I never looked at the display of my Fitbit One. App is what I review. As for the incorrect steps that Leslie mentioned, it will never be accurate but I think it's pretty much close. Also, it really isn't so important how accurate it is as the overall idea is to keep setting a goal and meeting it. So whatever that number is try to eventually pass it and then set up a higher goal. That's improvement unless you sit all day and shake your hand up and down so that your Fitbit thinks you are walking :).

I have the Bodymedia Advantage and I wore it together with my new Fitbit Flex and while I did slightly more steps with Fitbit my calories burned were less on Fitbit and that is really what is important to me. I want to have that 1000 deficit a day so if I really have to burn more to get it I'm ok with it :).

I have a Fitbit One and I love it, my only complaint is the case that clips to your bra or pocket tends to not hold up all that well, but if you send a note to the customer service if/when you have a problem they are great about replacing them. It's also very small, so you have to be careful not to leave it on you pants and accidentally wash it or lose it. I love that it syncs to your computer and my iPhone wirelessly so I can look at my progress without having to unclip it or pull it off my bra.

I had fitbit one but it ... accidentally went into wash with my bra. It was clipping to it snugly (guess it depends on the bra) and I really liked it but after the wash it worked for about 2 hours and then it died. So I bought fitbit flex and I am very happy with it as well.

I have the one and I clip it to my pants pocket (the fitbit itself in my pocket with the clip on the outside) I think it would drive me insane if I clipped it to my bra.

If you have a fitbit please feel free to add me as a friend! reeseandkyra@yahoo.com ;)

A little late to weigh in on the topic but I love love love my flex. I use its dashboard over any of the other food monitoring programs, it has easy to read icons and I can update things on my computer or my phone love it. I love my flex its not cumbersome, I can wear it in the shower I only take it off once a week at night when I sleep to charge and then it is good for the rest of the time. It has an alarm that goes off when I hit my goal I have mine set for calorie burn. I typically hit it by 8pm so if I hit it early I know that I rocked the day if I hit it late then I know that tomorrow I have to hit the ground running. I got to school and I am like a walking billboard for my flex, it really helps me stay on point and helps me feel accountable for the things I throw in my mouth.

I used to log in food on my fitbit flex iphone app but then I started using MFP and I love the fact that I can scan the food. So easy. It syncs with the fitbit so there is no info lost nor do I have to enter anything twice.

I bought a Fitbit flex Friday and have been loving it so far.

I also track my food on MFP and am happy that the two talk to each other.

My only complaint is I have an older smart phone (Galaxy II) that’s not compatible (although my fitbit was syncing to it the first day) I’m still loving it – when I get home the first thing I do is log onto my computer and sync.

I injured myself a few weeks back and have been ordered off which means no dance for me  This is super hard for me because I typically practice 30mins a day and then 3 hour rehearsals once a week. The Fitbit is getting me to increase my walking bit by bit which is helping my recovery. For example, running an errand yesterday coming home I’d normally walk the 4 subway stops but cant with the injury. Instead I walked the distance of one, and then hopped on the train the rest of the way.

When in physio this morning my therapist said she saw a great improvement in my walk.

I’ve not yet cleared 10000 steps yet (office job) but hopefully by the end of the week I will have, and then the weekend – look out, here I come! :D

I don't clear 10,000 steps either unless I go for a walk over 4miles. It's a huge accomplishment if I do during the week. Desk job here too and my office is only so big. No stairs to take. My lunch is eaten in front of the computer doing work or chatting away on JC. And if I have the opportunity to take a break, it's to run personal errands.
