Hi guys! So I'm 20 years old and started jenny three weeks ago. I just had my third weigh in and I'm down 8.8 pounds!! I'm so ecstatic! (1st week- 5 pounds. 2nd week- 2.4 pounds. 3rd week- 1.4 pounds.) I started at 228.8 pounds and my first goal is 197 pounds... With an ultimate goal weight of 150 pounds. I'd love for anyone else to share their stories because I'm kinda new to this. Would love some support buddies! :) -Chelsea

Hey Chelsea,
I'm a young member too, I'm 22. I've lost 7.4lbs since July (I'm a slow loser). I'm glad to hear of your success and I wish you all the best with the program!

Hit the thrift stores as you start to change sizes to help keep you motivated and looking good. I donated my clothes as soon as I fit the next size down and kept stopping at the Goodwill. I now have a beautiful closet full of name brand clothes that make me feel good and didn't cost a fortune. I even bought a few things a size smaller and would try them on as I lost to see how close them came to fitting. Happy Days when they finally did. Post and read the forums a lot. It truly helps!!

Hi chelsea, welcome to JC and congrats on a great first few weeks! stick with the program , it works. do exactly what they say and get in some exercise and have lots of patience. I started about your starting weight and got down to 150 , You can do this!

When you look in the mirror and see no change, and still keep faith, knowing that in time you will get there if you stay focused and on track, that's the difference between those who succeed and those who fail.

5'4", 46 years old, start date 7/18/2012 236.4 lbs, i work out a lot.

Hi Chelsea! I'm 24 & actually just finally starting Jenny Craig at home today! I have about 20 lbs that I am looking to lose, but after trying to lose this weight multiple times through multiple programs, I am afraid the last 10 will never come off. It sounds like you are off to a wonderful start & I look forward to hearing about your progress! Keep up the good work!

Thank you all for your support!!! Random question: was anyone addicted to diet soda and then cut down or cut out completely and saw a change weight wise afterwards? I used to have about three diet cokes a day, now cut down to one a day... Was just wondering if anyone saw personal shifts in change due to cutting out anything but water... Thanks!

I used to drink half a case of diet soda a day. I told myself I could have it, just not in the house. So now, I'll get it when I go out for dinner, or I'm in a situation where people are drinking. I've definitely noticed a difference in bloating since I made the change.

I used to drink at least 4-5 diet cokes a day before Jenny Craig but I don't seem to crave them as much anymore. I usually drink half a can or less when I have one with a meal at home. Many times I opt for water or coffee instead...If I have a diet coke at a restaraunt I tend to drink it up..I don't believe not drinking them has increased my weight loss though.

I still drink one on occasion but have trouble finishing it. I don't feel like it hinders or helps with my weight loss. I will say that I have noticed a HUGE difference since I started drinking so much water though! My skin, my hair even the dark circles under my eyes are almost gone! I swear I can tell a difference just looking in the mirror! I can't get enough water now.....especially with lots of fresh squeezed lemon juice!!!

You can do it!!! I made it a whole year without ever tiring ... I did start to experiment more but I really love this program and am so excited to be back on it. I don't think it will take me a year to finish my journey. Very happy to read about your successes as well :)
