I have decided that I have wallowed long enough! (I weighed myself this morning and I have no change for the week.....I've been depressed all morning)
I've been doing research on here trying to figure out what I could be doing wrong. I have not cheated at all in the 3 weeks I have been on JC and can't figure it out. Well my friends, I have decided that is enough! I am going to go get in the shower and head to the mall to get my walk on! My WI is at 3 and I will hopefully get some answers while I'm there. I'm hoping my JCC can help me figure out why I didn't lose this week; but for now, I know the walking is helping me to feel better and more energetic and I know I'm eating less (and better!) than I used to.

I'm outta here!

If you are following the program , you aren't doing anything wrong. Weight loss isn't linear, you will gain some weeks, stay the same some weeks, and lose some weeks. Its a long term process, stick with it. Exercise is great and will help get you in shape. stick with the program, and have patience. it will take some time.

When you look in the mirror and see no change, and still keep faith, knowing that in time you will get there if you stay focused and on track, that's the difference between those who succeed and those who fail.

5'4", 46 years old, start date 7/18/2012 236.4 lbs, i work out a lot.

Sonya is right...there is no rhyme or reason to it sometimes. Plateaus happen and they are frustrating but you just have to ride it out. Keep doing what you should and you will eventually start to see losses again! Remember you're also losing inches so that means smaller clothes and shopping...YAY!

Sometimes when I weigh myself in the morning, it will show that I have not lost (or occasionally even gained)... but then when I go to my WI in the afternoon, it will show a loss. Don't get down on yourself! So many things can make the scale go up or down (water weight, etc...). Just keep at it!

I always weigh about 1lbs less in the afternoon, early evening after work! Around 5!

Get your walk on girl!

I have been experimenting, instead of doing my usual 40-45 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training, I am just doing 50-60 min cardio and some core strengthing. I have found the weight coming off faster. I will start weight training when I need to start toning!
