I wanted to know if there was anyway to sub oatmeal in as a breakfast. Trader Joe's has frozen steel cut oats. The nutritional facts are
Calories: 150
Fat: 2.5g
Sodium: 40mg
Total Carbs: 27g
Dietary Fiber: 4.0g
Sugar: 7.0g
Protein: 5.0g
I'm on 1500 calories, could I have this for breakfast?

Thank you for your post,

1 serving of Trader Joe's Steel Cut Oats = 2 starch servings.

You may be high in starch servings for the day and lower in protein. If you decide to add this to your day, don't forget to add your fruit and milk serving to your breakfast meal/day. Speak with your consultant during your next visit to see how this can best fit into your menu.

Best wishes!
