Hello fellow guys and ghouls!

With the Labor Day challenge well into its last week, I thought I'd put up the next challenge for everyone to sign up for...the Halloween challenge!! It will offically start the day after Labor day, September 3rd, so claim your spot now. :P Just kidding...you can join us at any point.

So, come one, come all and join the fun. Let's motivate one another to scare off a few pounds, get into our sexy Halloween costumes and get a good start on looking hot for the holidays. They will be here before we know it. Posted Image

All you need to do is post your goals on your first post, whether it be to lose a certain amount of weight, fit into a smaller size or run a few extra miles come October 31st. We'll have almost 2 months to reach them. A lot can be done in 2 months, right?

My goals? I'm not certain what I'll weigh on Sept. 3rd, but I'm going to shoot for 165 pounds by Halloween.

CW: 179

GW: 165

Hope to see lots of you join us. Challenges are so motivating and keep you accountable. So, whose with me?

I'm in! I'm aiming high here, ladies, but I'd love to reach 172 by 10/31 or have some part of my lower body into a size 10, whichever comes first. I'll weigh in on Saturday and edit this with my starting weight. Shooting for the stars on this challenge!

Okay. So weighed in today and I'm starting at 191.4. And we're off!

i'm sure as heck gonna try and lose a few pounds! they aren't kidding when they say the last 10 are hard to lose!!! I'm doing some calorie cycling right now for 6 weeks (1200, 1800) and if that doesn't work i'm gonna eat at maintenence for 6 weeks (2000 calories, omg!) and if that doens't work, i'm gonna try something else. I'll be able to start running again in a month , hopefully the cardio will help. So yep, count me in ! even if i only lose 1 pound by halloween, i'll be happy !

I am definitely in!! My goals will be fitness and size related since I have such a hard time with the actual numbers. My goals are going to really push me.

Goals:
1. Lost 10 pounds (weigh in at 215)
2. Lose 10 inches off the measurements tracked by Jenny Craig
3. Hit 100,000 steps one week out of the 8
4. Ride 550 miles on the stationary bike with one ride being 25 miles (13 miles further than I have ever ridden) with my fastest time per mile decreasing to 14 minutes
5. Walk/Run 80 miles with my fastest time per mile decreasing to 15 minutes.
6. Get up to 1.5 minutes of a plank

Hopefully, as I meet all those fitness goals my weight and my size will decrease as well. I am committed to working out at least 5 days a week and will use Gym Pact to track that. I am committed to using RunKeeper to track my miles. I will use my FitBit to track my steps. I am really excited.

I live in Nevada and October 31st for us is Nevada Day. There is a huge parade and many parties and I will see many people I only see once a year. Last year, I weighed 200 pounds. This year, I want to look better than I did then. I may not weigh less but I want to look better...sexy, tight, firm and healthy. I am committed to staying on my food plan all the way through the end of the challenge. I will eat on plan, log my food and post here every day.

Thank you so much for continuing the challenge!!

Sonya, you are my inspiration. We are the same age and you started just about where I started (225). I also workout a great deal but so far, it has not affected my weight loss. I have been on Jenny Craig for four weeks and have not lost any weight. I am still committed and am just waiting for my body to trust that I will feed it every day so it will start to let go of the pounds. In the mean time, my goals are mostly fitness related although I have several cute outfits to fit in to as I get smaller and smaller. I want to look like you next summer!!

awe thanks, Jewel! You are right to stay committed no matter what and most important stick to the JC food plan and only eat what is on the plan. I stuck to it 100%, never cheated, never had a binge day, no excuses, i stayed on the plan. And the weight practically fell off. I also walked and walked and walked every free minute, and i did a lot of cardio on Wii games. Your body will catch up! Fitness goals are awesome, they will get your body in shape. But the diet is what drops the pounds. You can do it!!!

It's about time I join a challenge. I would really love to be at 165 by Oct. 31 (like a few other of you), but my losses are really unpredictable, so I won't be too upset if I don't see that number.
My true goals are:
-Finish my 30 squat challenge (I'm on day 16 now!) and I'd like to start a 30 day crunch challenge. These exercises are really easy for me to do while I'm bored at work and the store is slow.
-I'd also really love for my current favorite pair of jeans to be falling off me. They're a bit loose now, but still wearable. I'd like to trade those in for a pair of pants I bought awhile ago that are currently too small.

Sandy, thanks for starting this and can I just say that I read a post a long while back and you mentioned something about your age and I have to say, I do not believe you are 50 yrs old. You look like you are in your late 30's at most. You look amazing. I only hope I look that good at 50. You are such an inspiration

Okay, I'm only finishing my first week, but I'm in. I think getting involved in a challenge will keep me more accountable and I definitely want to make sure I'm getting exercise on a regular basis. My goal will be to lose 30 pounds by Halloween. I have a lot to lose, so I feel like this will keep me motivated to do the best I can. After today's weigh-in, I'm at 362 so my goal is 332. I'm actually really looking forward to the challenge. Thanks for putting this together!

I am so glad to see new people!! Keep checking in. You are right...this is a great way to stay accountable to someone other than yourself. Get ready to set some goals that are going to challenge you...something that will push you a little further than you thought you could go. Last month was my first month and I used the challenge to really push me physically and I am so grateful for the support I received here. I have lost inches and gained strength and health and feel great.

Welcome again!

Welcome to everyone! I'm so happy that so many of you have joined this challenge. Please check in often, even if you weigh in only once a week. Checking in daily, if possible, helps to motivate you, inspire others and keep you moving towards your goal/goals.

So, as a reminder, tomorrow is the offical start day. Have a safe and wonderful Labor Day everyone!
