Hey all,

I know I am not the only one that likes salsa on their egg things but the other day when I went shopping and I needed some new salsa I found this stuff by Guy Fieri (from the Food Network).  Its called Chipotle Salsa and it is great!!!!!  It is only 25 calories for 2 TBLS.  and I know I don't put that much on any of my food so its pretty low for us.  I put it on my Sunshine sandwich and I am having it on my stuffed sandwich this morning....can't wait to try it on the scramble the next time i get it.....just a FYI.
My log-in name is psychonurse but I am not crazy except I am crazy for weight loss.

I am back with Jenny and I can't remember how many times I have been here before but this time I am going to do it.

By the way my real name is Sonya.

psycho
Read the ingredients: if it's salsa it's supposed to be a free food!
Just gotta be careful of the sodium!  I found a serano chili one and use it in my salad with my ranch dressing and it is wonderful!  I also use it in the egg dishes and the mexican type dished too!

I'm with you Sonya, I love salsa and put it on all kinds of things, eggs, baked potato, etc. I also cut up carrots and use them to dip in it instead of chips, works great for the crunch factor and it's all free!

Don't like it on my eggs but love it during the summer time. Its GARDENING Time! Even if you live in an apartment, you can grow a small box of herbs! Out here I have two, with seven different herbs...and Cilantro is one thing you can never have too much of I think (my mom and sister both hate it!). But, in a food processor I blend: white (or red) onion, diced fresh tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice (or lemon since I have fresh lemon juice), and some jalapeno.  That way I can control the salt content (I don't add salt). ..and we garden so fresh tomatoes and onion? YUM YUM! I imagine you could add Serrano peppers instead...eh, you can mix it up..but that's what I do to control the salt.
