Tomorrow is going to be my first day on Jenny Craig. My issue with losing weight, is no time to cook, and no support! I'd love some local Jenny Craig friend's, to help keep each other on track, and it'd be nice to have someone to chit chat with whose doing the same program a me! I'm a 30 year old mom of 2 kids, ready to shed some pounds!!

Well, I don't think I'm nearby but we are all on the program and hear to offer support and advice. I too joined after baby (1 year after, actually) I've been on the program for about 7 months and am down over 70 pounds. My biggest piece of advice is to never give in to fatigue. We can always rationalize not doing something because we're tired. I promise... we will always be tired. I bought myself a wii and have used Just Dance as my main form of exercise but once I dropped the "I'm tired" excuse, I started the c25k program, started walking on my lunch hour at work, started actually using my home workout machine, etc. Just be open to try new things at least once. You will surprise yourself!

I'm in the States but using the boards allows us to "chat" with each other no matter where we live.

Jessica (Faiza) gave you some great advice. We are all here to cheer each other on. Let us be your support system. :)

It's the couch to 5k program. Basically, it takes you from being a couch potato to being able to run 5k without stopping. It uses timed intervals of walking and running until you will be weaned off of walking. I use an app on my iphone and it alerts me when to walk and when to run. I can even listen to my ipod while running.
