I'm looking to lose 25 lbs. by Labor Day weekend, about 23 weeks from now. I have a special party to go to and it's one of many reasons motivating me to get into shape. I thought it might be fun to do this together if other people want to lose weight in this timeframe too...we could do it together.

Anyways, I'll post once or twice a week my stats, and hope you'll join me too in this challenge.

CSW = challenge start weight = 185
CGW = challenge goal weight = 160

I keep track of my weekly losses as well... this week I'm starting at 203.2!

Week 1 of my challenge to lose 25 lbs. by August 31st far exceeded my expectations.

I exercised 4 days: 2 at gym, 1 walking outside, and 1 at mall, and I've been sticking to plan. I had 2 planned MOMO: one grilled chicken salad from Chick-Fil-A at a social function and a Wolfgang Puck chicken rice soup on a day I wasn't feeling well.

And the great news....I LOST 3.2 LBS THIS WEEK =) I'm very excited =) Thanks JC and all you great people that have offered such encouraging and inspirational words.

CGW = challenge goal weight = 160

I'm in CW: 173.2, GW 147, weight should be 148.2lbs by Labor, but I will be more realistic for myself and say 18lbs for myself by Labor day putting me at 155.2lbs. I hope this is ok. Let's Go Ladies and Gents if any are in the challenge. yay

Ok I'm in, I will be at my goal in 20 pounds. i just calculated that if i maintain a daily deficit of 450 calories, i'll make my goal by Labor Day. So count me in this one!!

and stacy congrats on a great week! you got a good head start on the way to your goal.

OK my starting was 286 now im 252 so by Labor day I hope to be at least 220 WE can do it lets get it in..... :P

Ok, so this week, I only lost 0.4 lbs, but I'm really glad to see the scale tipping the right way. I'm remaining positive and continuing my exercise and JC plans.

04/06/13 down 2.5lbs for a total of 15.5lbs since 03/03/13.

Congrats Rosina! 15lbs in 1 month is remarkable! Way to go!!!

I lost 0.4 lbs again, and am feeling a little like the tortoise in the tortoise & the hare. But I know I'm on the right track and it might be more realistic for me to lower my goal to 15 lbs. before Labor Day.

However, I'm going to try to jumpstart my weightloss and hope my new plan works...So far I've been walking 4 days a week for 30 minutes and going to the gym 2 days a week for an hour. My new plan is to add a Total Body Conditioning (20 mins aerobics/20 mins upper & lower body/20 mins abs) class to my regimen twice a week to bump up the walking to a higher level cardio. We'll see if this helps me drop more lbs each week =) Remaining hopeful =)

Challenge: Lose 15-25 lbs. before Labor Day...
CSW = challenge start weight = 185
CW = current weight = 181
CGW = challenge goal weight = 160-170

This sounds really great! Yes, I want to join in and lose 27 pounds by Labor Day.

Last week I was at the gym for only a short period of time due to my schedule and unfortunately I only lost 0.8 pounds, but I am going to be at the gym more this week and stick to my calorie eating plan.

Hi, I like to be 280 by Labor Day weekend, I am now at 305 Lbs. I feel I can do it just by looking at all of you and your accomplishments. It gives me that push I can do it too.

It's rough sometimes, but everyday is a new day so you decide, it's you decision to do what you want daily. Hard at work here even if I do mess up, I make a decision on who and what I want with my life daily. I'm down 10.2 since starting this challenge, and 17.5 since starting JC 03/03/13. Slow but steady. Smiles we can do this ppl. :) smiles
