Hi Meggy!
Have you tried drinking a bottle of water mixed with sugar and calorie free crystal light? It's sweet.... and free!
Otherwise you can peel and slice an apple in very thin slices, fan them out on a plate, sprinkle with a bit of splenda and microwave the whole thing for 1-2 min or until slightly tender. You can add cinamon if you like!

Then again: before you pig out on a bag of chips or a whole bucket of icecream by all means: have the JC dessert and enjoy every single bite!
Stick with one dessert though! And be aware that you will have to cut it out of another day. I know it's tough...
A lot of people use frozen grapes as a go to thing. They let them melt in their mouth. It's refreshing, sweet and low in calories if you dont eat the whole bag in one sitting.

As far as the smoothies go, you will have to experiment with different fruits. Some have more sweetness in them. That's why I suggested bananas. If you can't eat them, try chopping up an apple. They will be sweeter than some fruits. If the smoothie is too sour, add more sweetener until you get the recipe that you like best.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Dessert Hummus
Ingredients:- 2 cups chickpeas
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
In a food processor, add the first 4 ingredients and process until the hummus is smooth and emulsified(the one thing no one wants for dessert is chunky chickpea pieces in their dessert).
If that doesnt satisfy, I agree that you can eat your JC Dessert tonight. Although it looks like these tips are for your next sweet tooth attack. (I am pretty sure all my teeth are sweet tooths) Hehe. Another option is Skinny cow ice creams. They are low in calories and are a great summer snack. But remember to add them into your daily calorie count/menu. WW also makes some pretty good ice cream, but I'm a skinny cow ice cream fan myself:)

OK, as for the Tootsie Roll Pop, it's about 60 calories. Is it your best choice? Nope. But it's also not the worse.
Now, as for the smoothies, yes, you can use whatever fruits you want (but if you hit your quota today just keep that in mind for another day). I made some with mango and strawberries or peaches or a combination of fruits - whatever you want. Experiment until you find a flavor you like.
Personally that's the way I usually had my milk and fruit. It was soooooooo much more satisfying and filling and I enjoyed it much more that way than actually eating the fruit. Yes, sometimes I had the fruit in it's natural form but if I was having "one of those days" I would DEFINITELY make up a smoothie.
Oh, and another one that helped a lot was making up flavored iced tea! There are soooooo many flavors out there. (Buy one of those multi-packs if you want to experiment to see which flavors you like.)
It feels like a real treat and, again, it's FREE!!!!
Oh, and don't forget sugar free gum. You can't eat if you're chewing.
Hope that helps!
