I can't be the only current new guy on JC, can I? Would really like to talk to any guys on the program if you're out there.

Jay,
Don't freak out but there ARE lots of guys who are ON the program but most don't post to the boards.

You can check out the post by DShireman - Way More Than 200 Lbs. To Lose. He's a great guy and about our only semi-regular "guy" poster.

Oh, and most people post on the GENERAL forum.

I know you'd rather talk to other guys, but if you don't hear from them, don't lose heart. You should be proud of yourself for trying the program and asking questions...if if you only get us ladies to answer. ;)

So how are you doing on the "Program"?

I've been on for about 10 weeks now. I haven't started working out yet, so that's my next thing on the list to do. I was originally going to lose 50 lbs, but I'm thinking about going up to 60 now. It's nice being a guy, we get to eat more and we can lose quicker. Gotta look for the +'s where have them.

Glad I found your post. I keep asking the same question when I go to the Centre. I was amused that in the most recent brochure on the program, there was one male in a photo. He apparently was the spouse of the real client. I wonder when Jenny Craig will realize that about 50% of the population is male and many of us need lots of help to lose all of the additional pounds. I started February 1, 2012 and to date have lost 26 pounds. Hard work but at least going in the right direction. Thanks for being there....

i sure wish jenny would focus more on guys weight loss instead of only focusing on women's. i've been on the program for 3 weeks and am lovin' it.

:ph34r: Yes as of Monday there is a new DUDE on the program... just signed up for a year with the MAX program... jumping in with both feet and the wife... she was comfortable with a lady consultant as was I and we see her together as a team.... not sure how many more guys there are but hey I'm fine with that.. I've got a lot of LBS to shed, so we will see. I set a huge goal for myself so here to losing everything....

Week 5 -3.6 lbs.
Week 6 - out of town
Week 7 - on Cruise
Week 8 +9 lbs gained from cruise
Week 9 -10 lbs. in 6 days cruise weight gone!!
Week 10 -5 lbs. nice and steady
Week 11 -1.4 lbs. Started a gym membership!

Week 12 -6 lbs. BOOYA
Week 13 -4 lbs. BOOYA
Week 14 -.05 hummm
Week 15 -1.0 loss  stubborn scale!
Week 16 -5.0 loss that's more like it!

Hey 12monkeys. Welcome to the program. There aren't a lot of other guys in the forums, but don't let that discourage you. The plan works for DUDES. Trust me. It's cool that you are doing this with your wife, support helps a lot. These forums are a good place for both of you to find it as well.

DUDES... ate just what they said and it was plenty of food and in fact we found that I wasn't eating enough half way through the week just finished week 1.... 8lbs gone..

JC for Men, you are not alone.  I think there are more men out there than would like to admit it.  I know I believe in no evidence and no witnesses about how much weight I have gained in the last 3 years.  So, let's get these boys fired up.  The plan works.  I've witness a friend of mine and now I'm on it.  I'm still in my first week but the food taste good and I never feel hungry as long as I can eat all the vegies I want.

I started two weeks ago and already have lost 11lbs, it is really easy to follow, since it include all the meals. I'm very glad I chose JC and would recommended to anybody.
