What do you do when you go to your friends house for a sleepover? Do you bring your meals? I just started my second week and I've already lost 5.6 pounds :)

Hi! First, congrats on losing 5.6 pounds already! FANTASTIC!!!! I'm proud of you! :)

I know I'm not a teen but just in case none of the teens on the boards don't answer you, do you mind if I make a suggestion?

Does your friend(s) know you're on Jenny? If so, then, yes, bring your JC meal(s) and either a JC snack or get one of those 100 calorie snacks (I like the popcorn because you have a lot of it to munch on).

If they don't know or you don't want to know, still bring the 100 calorie snack, some fruit and eat whatever is her mom makes and is being served...in Jenny portion sizes.

Or, if they're having pizza, take off any of the meat (veggies are fine) and take a napkin or a paper towel to blot off the oil and have ONE piece. It'll still be a bit over your calorie limit but it's not going to do too much damage. But when you get back home, make sure you stick to the JC plan and foods. You'll be fine.

Keep up the great work! Trust me. It is soooooooo much easier to lose the weight when you're young. ;) :)

Have fun!!!! :)

I agree what Phyllis but will add my 2 cents. Several years ago my daughters and I lived next door to their friend who needed to lose about 40 pounds. All of her family were very tiny people. She joined JC with me and did very well. I saw her confidence change immediately. I know it must be difficult when you are a teen. You are in a different peer group than many of us. I know the pressure can be intense. However, you can burn those pounds off like crazy by sticking to the program and exercising. In many cases anyway. The older you get the body usually slows down when it comes to burning calories.

As far as what to do at your sleepover, here are some other possibilities. Take a water bottle with you. If you don't want plain water add some MIO drops or crystal light. You can get  both in the Koolade aisle at the grocery. Take some fat free ranch dressing and a container of your favorite veggies. If everyone else is munching on chips, you can crunch away too. You can take your own pizza unless you feel uncomfortable with that. Otherwise, order a personal size pizza with thin crust and load up on the veggies. You can just say that you like thin crust better. Plus, a lot of young girls watch their figure and you might inspire someone by eating a healthy diet.

One last thing. I want to congratulate you on you loss so far. You are a very smart girl to want to be healthy at such an early age. Make sure you do your homework about healthy eating and not just getting thin. You go girl!
