nervous about weigh-in

I'm a little nervous for my weigh-in on Saturday. Last week I stayed exactly the same and that was after hitting the gym for 5 days. This week i've been sick since Sunday so haven't made it to the gym at all and was having issues staying on plan.. Was eating some soups and drinking lots of ginger-ale. I'm just hoping if I don't lose I at least stay the same.. Being sick is not fun when trying to lose weight.

I had a horrible week last week and still lost. Just drink lots of fluids. You'll do fine. You can do this!

Dusti, sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well. Hope you're doing better.

Look, hon, just remember that this is a long-term journey (meaning you don't ever want to go back to eating the way you did that caused you to gain weight before JC) so if it takes an extra week or two to get to your goal, that's okay. It will give your mind and body time to get used to this new relationship with food that you're going to keep (in one way or another) for the rest of your life.

Hang in there! You'll be fine and the scale will show it either next WI or the next. :)
