whew...........doing tony horton's (p90x developer) 10 minute trainers. Love 'em and I just want to say, 5 weeks ago I didn't think I would ever be able to do any of his workouts again. I have gained so much stamina and strength in 3 weeks. I by far cannot do all of the workout, but each time, I am doing more and more. It's definitely a challenge, but for me, I have to be challenged in my workout. I am just glad to be up and moving furthering my weight loss and health lifestyle journey!!!!

I might even have enough stamina to get through my test tonight!! :)

That's great! I did Insanity and am now on P90X2 but honestly I am finding that I don't have as much energy now that I am on week 2 of JC at the 1200 cal max. Did you have an issue with your calorie intake?

not yet; I feel pretty satisfied as long as I volumize. I am much more tired this week, but it's probably hormonal. I want to do p90x but I think I'll wait til I've reached my halfway goal and need to kick things up! Have fun!

I have the P90X, I think it's just the regular, orginal one. I have not pulled it out, except for the AB RIPPER X CD. It's a great Ab work out and I can do the entire thing. It's 20 minutes and I just love it. I do that about 3 times per week. The P90X is super hard, but I have been doing Zumba for the Wii, running intervals outside, spinning here at home (my husband got the spin bike last winter and I think he's used it 4 times and I use it about 3x a week!) and I've been lifting weights at home too. I love working out at home. I think I will pull the P90X out when I hit my half way mark...8 more LBS to go! I should be ready for it then...BRING IT!
Start Date: 11.29.11

Sounds like you are really getting into your workouts!! That's great! Ya.....tell me how it goes at your halfway point if you decide to pull it out! I'm going for that {fingers crossed} Right now, I get a little sore, but I'm not overly sore every day, so I'm easing into it! But you are doing wonderful vfish! Keep it up!

I have always wanted to do the 10-min. trainers. We have Power 90, P90X, Insanity (Shaun T), Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Fire. My husband is a beachbody coach and we like to mix it up. I have done each one, but can't stick with them. LOL! Tony Horton, Shaun T, and Chalean Johnson are all NO JOKE! I definitely modify it and sometimes don't even make it through the workouts, but I can tell you that pushing play is the first step and I am proud of myself if I get to at least accomplish that much. =)

I think I'm going to buy the 10 Minute Trainer. I have P90X and Insanity but both discourage me because I can't make it through the entire workout. I'm hoping the 10 Minute Trainer will prepare me for the other two. I think the 10 Minute Trainer will also be easier with my son (he's in the hold me 24/7 stage) so I don't get much done throughout the day.

Sara.....I'm thinking the same thing.....get those 10 minute trainers down to a science and then hopefully I'll be ready to make it thru p90x......this is my goal anyways!! Good luck!

Yes it does put a lot of pressure in those areas and also he moves so fast to the next workout that there is NOOOO break to recoup a little, so, be careful and know yourself. Maybe get things healed and try again.....:)
