Weigh In Jitters..........

I am finding myself soooo completely nervous about tomorrow!
I don't want to obsess and I've been pretty good, but I guess it's just my down mood this week. I have been on point all week, have exercised all but one day, so I know I have done everything I am committed to doing, but still, I worry about that darn scale tomorrow!!! ARGHH~
I wonder when that will diminish and I'll just ease into the weigh in day just as I ease in to every other day because I know that scale will go down and up.....that's just reality.
I even had a few NSV's this week so I know that logically I shouldn't fret, but.......lol......we are only human, I guess! Hearing from all of you about this will certainly help!

I joined Jenny to learn how to eat healthier. To me this is a lifetime struggle. I can't let 1 minute per week on a scale, ruin what could have been a very good week for me.
As BlessedforLife always says, "the scale lies". LOL
I hope in some way this helps you to stop fretting weigh-ins and use your weigh-in day as a day that you pat yourself on the back for all the healthy eating/exercise you did the previous week.

It's super hard not to worry abou that scale going in the right direction! I've been with Jenny for almost 10 weeks and I have had a loss for all of my weigh ins. A couple of times they were only a couple of ounces, but then the next two weeks after that I would lose 3 lbs. The weeks I didn't lose much were during my TOM (time of the month). I think I'm worrying a little less because after 2.5 months I have a feel for what the scale is going to do if I stick to the meal plans and get a lot of exercise! So, try not to worry, if the scale doesn't go down the way you think it should this week, it should next week! Last week I had a 2 ounce loss, so I'm hoping this week will be at least 2 lbs. It's hard not to worry. But if you stay on the plan the weight WILL come off!
Good Luck!

We're too numbers-obsessed and it's silly. NO ONE besides your JCC or a doctor is EVER going to ask you what your scale says so why would you let it have so much power over you?
Just my two cents.

I am sure this is only temporary for you...before long you'll just strut yourself right in there without a second thought

Of course, sometimes you might be surprised (or not so surprised, depending on how on track you are) to see a small gain, it's happened to pretty much everyone. My gains were during the holidays when I knew I had been indulging (not a LOT, but enough that I knew it was coming). Then again, I've gone into weigh-ins a couple of times with a sinking feeling, thinking I KNEW I was going to see a gain, and instead I was astonished to find a great loss! You never know! But I think the longer you play the game, the less nervous you will become.
