Back in Onederland!

Well, my first month is over and I'm back in Onederland! This time around I seem to be much harder on myself with greater/faster expectations. I was really depressed the last two weeks because I had only lost 1 pound each week. I am following the menu and working out. Then today I show a 4 pound loss! Go figure. I keep telling myself that the slower it comes off, the easier it will be to maintain. Some days though are harder than others. Last night I was ready to dive into a giant bowl of ice creme, but I went to bed instead!!!!

So my solution is to stay on the boards even if that means only reading them. These boards got me through the first time around, and they are working again this time. Everyone is such an inspiration!!!!

I just want to thank you all for always being so open and honest about your personal journey because so many times they mimic my own!!!!
Second Time Around

RW 213 on 1/6/12
1st Goal Weight 180 lbs

Week 1 - 1/14/12 - Lost 8 lbs
Week 2 - 1/21/12 - Lost 1 lb

Whoooo-hooooo, Lisa!!! Congrats on the big loss this week and for entering ONEDERLAND!!!!!

Your mindset is correct in understanding that the longer it takes, the more time you will have to re-learn your relationship with food. That's the way to look at it.

And losing 1-2 lbs. a week IS average so you're doing everything right. :)

Keep it up and keep coming here. We're cheering you on!!! :)

Mini Goal #1: 210lb/fit into size 14 skinny jeans; reward: It's its own reward, surely!

Oh!!! I am soooo happy for you!! I am close to Onederland and can't wait!!! I too want that weight off right now, lol, but I am learning so much and it really does count for something!! I'm hoping this early struggles and resisting the temptations will help later when it's gone and I'm maintaining, so you are doing fantabulous! Keep up the good work and have fun with your workouts! I know I am! It feels good!
