Hey Sara! Welcome. You really do need to eat all your calories, it is important for the plan to work. Even if I just eat half of my fruit it helps. Just a suggestion! Good luck to you!

Kwads, I just recall the consultant stating it was ok to not eat the soupitizers. I thought maybe it would be ok but I'll let you know what my consultant says tomorrow! Even today I felt full after my oatmeal bar. I didn't eat the fruit again but I'm going to try to incorporate it into my lunch so I do get those calories. Thanks for the advice!

I agree that it's important to eat all your food in that day........it would be best to discuss this with your JCC.....I just understand that it's a balanced approach and for myself, I don't want to not eat that snack and then the next day be really super hungry and go overboard. Talk to your JCC and work it out and see how it goes! Great to see all the enthusiasm! Everybody have a blessed week!

manthony72, I get to meet with my consultant tomorrow! I'll let you know what she says about not eating some food if I become full. Yesterday when I skipped the fruit, I didn't ever feel hungry. I felt great and I worked out just as well as ever. Today I don't feel that hungry either. It's odd!

Hi all, I started JC last Tue and after my first week I only lost a little over a pound. I don't have much to lose so my counselor thinks that is why I didn't have a more dramatic weight loss the first week but honestly I have lost 4 pounds or so when I follow Weight Watchers so I am a bit discouraged. I followed the plan to a "T" and I also workout quite a bit, doing the P90X2 program. I really don't feel like I am losing inches either even though I am working out so much. I know that I need to let the program work and give it more time but I can't help feeling a little discouraged. :(

SusanBachmore, don't be discouraged. Any weight lost is a job well done! Congratulations on your success. You're going to reach your goal, I know it!

Hello Im Kristin, im 37 and starting on JC last thursday...my weight has been up and down...thinking it would be my first week on JC i would have thought that it would have gone down drastically but im riding it out...
I use the bodymedia band and love the info and log all my weight and food into that area...basically Jenny food/fruit/veg/yogurt and nuts as listed...i eat everything and im happy with the small amount of weight loss but not as drastic as i thought it would be...good luck to everyone!

Krissypooh, how do you like the body media band? I wanted to join that program but I knew I would get tired of wearing the band 24/7. Glad to hear it is working for you!

Hello my name is Gail and I'm considering re-joining JC. I'm 57 with a grand daughter, two young adult children, husband and a goal. I teach school and now have time to diet. I was taking care of my mother, deceased 12/29//11, and have time for myself. I am still recovering from her expenses, but I'm going to try to financially afford atleast the first month. I'll pray for the next one. I wonder if this will be fair for my family; cook for them, but not for me? Will I be worn out trying to keep them healthy, especially my grandaughter who lives with us. Any advice handling a household and dieting? I am also the wife of a pastor (very busy with church).

techytig, sorry for your loss. Stay positive (as much as you can). It's hard but dwelling will only stress you out further and that will harm your weight loss goals. You can do it! We're here to help! Try planning ahead by making meals in advance. Then you can eat with your family. If you are worried about keeping them healthy, plan a meal for them based off the meal you are going to eat. They'll reap the benefits and you won't feel so secluded in your new lifestyle of eating healthy. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone! My name is Tiffany and I am 27. I am a single mother of 3 and joined JC a little over a week ago. Had my first weigh in last night and lost 6.2 pounds. Not expecting it to be high like that every week because I know the first part of the loss is water weight. I started off weighing 250 pounds which is the biggest I've ever been. Last April, I was attacked by a rottweiler and just about had my arm ripped off. It was a very depressing time for me. I had to stay in the bed and recover for about 3 months which led to me doing nothing but laying down and eating. Now, thanks to that stupid dog, I have the funds to go on JC. I'm very excited about whats to come. When I got tired....I got tired! Tired of being my size and ready for new things. Also, I'm recently divorce! Yay...which made me lose about 200 pounds (the husband). But I'm very thankful for everything and excited about what's to come.

I just joined three days ago and think the program is a great fit for me (I'm too busy to think about cooking healthy to lose weight). My only issue is that none of the tools including the metabolic max work with the iphone or ipad. Since that is primarily what I use it is very disappointing. It wouldn't take much for them to hire someone to have a mobile page with the tools... Anyway... I'm down three pounds so I will try to stick it out.

Just had my first weigh in yesterday and lost 2 lbs. I am happy! If I keep this up I will reach my goal in less than 23 months. The JC foods have been pretty good. I was hungry a lot the first week but that's because I used to eat so many carbs. I've never eaten so many vegetables in my life like I have this past week! LOL Good luck to all of you :)

MsMesa, welcome! Don't get too discouraged about the lack of an application. You'll find a way around it. Congratulations on your three lbs! That's awesome.
