Hey there everyone!

I had weigh-in again on Monday night after work. I was down another 2.4 pounds! That puts me at 69 pounds in total! From 317.6 when I started at the end of June last summer to 248.6. So basically almost 70 pounds in 7 months! I don't say this too often, but I am SOOOO proud of myself!

My next goal is to hit 80 pounds by Easter, which I should be able to do....I hope. I tend to have a decent weight loss for a week or two in a row and then I have 0.5 or 0.8 pound loss for a couple of weeks....then it goes back up to me losing more. At least my pattern is consistent. :o) So that's 10 pounds in 10 weeks....which sounds like it shouldn't be a problem...but if I plateau a few weeks, it might be harder than it seems. We'll have to see.

My birthday is mid-August and I really want to have lost 100 pounds by then! I'm going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week and burning anywhere from 300 at the lowest to 600 calories each time I go, so that's helping a lot....I've also started doing some weights for toning, which should help my metabolism too. I had an appontment with my family doctor and interestingly my cholesterol and my triglycerides are both up since last year. I've lost 69 pounds since my last blood work but those values are both up. My sugars and everything else is fine. And even though my cholesterol and triglycerides are up, they are by no means in the concerning area...but my doctor is surprised that they are up. She's wondering if perhaps it's just a spike due to my weight loss...but she's going to have me back in three months to do more fasting blood work and double check the values. Hopefully the Jenny diet and all the prepared food isn't the cause. I did read something on here that someone posted about their values going up too, but I don't know what happened in that instance.

Anyway, I thought I'd have to wait until April to be able to do more agility with my dog Jovi, but it looks like I'm going to be traveling to a trial this coming Saturday to enter three events...so that should be awesome! I can't wait to run her!

Here's my girl on Youtube if any of you want to see her! I have some of her tricks posted...playing the "drums", skateboarding, stacking coloured rings, saying her prayers

I won't bore you with any more....but feel free to surf through my channel....there are some cute clips of my dad's lab Boomer too.

Thank you everyone for all of your support! I know I don't get on here very often, but the responses I get from you and the comments I read (even on other people's posts) are very inspiring and motivating!

Keep up the good work everyone and know that you ARE worth it!

WOOOOHOOOO!!! Congrats on losing 70 lbs in 7 months! You know that's an average of 10lbs a month, right? AMAZING! I bet you will reach your next goal no problem, as long as you just keep doing what you're doing! Must be on the right track! :)

And your doggie is SO adorable! It's very obvious that she is super smart and you love her very much! Good luck on your next runs!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words....about both me AND Miss Jovi (ie. The Devil with the Blue Dress On!)

It means a lot to come on here and read about everyone's experiences. It's very motivating.

Fingers crossed that I finally hit, if not cross, the 70 pound mark on Monday after work! You might hear me scream all the way from Ontario to whenever you are! heehee

Take care everyone!

Congrats on your losses!! After a divorce last year and just maintaining my weight, I am finally am back on track.. and tackling things with small goals in mind... right now I am focused on getting under 250 by my Alaskan cruise with family at the end of May as well as for my next physical in June. So that's only another 23 pounds.. theoretically, I could be down 30 pounds in 15 weeks averaging 2 pounds a week... let's see if me and Metabolic Max can make it happen.
Hugs & Blessings!
