They should sell "starter" spices with a cute little rack. They should be labelled with how they could be used.

Not everyone knows how to use spices and seasonings in their food. I know I didn't. My mom grew up VERY poor. They could not afford seasonings, so when my mom grew up, she didn't know how to cook with them. Thus, I never learned until I got up and on my own. At 36, I STILL am learning what spice will season what type of food.

With people needing to cut back on salt/sugar, I would think that marketing seasonings in Centers would not only teach healthier habits, but JC could make $$.

What do you all think? Are there items JC could/should market that they are not?

Fabulous idea Crystal!

You should post this on the "Food Feedback" or "Program Comments" forums too.

i agree, great idea! if i knew how to make things taste better with spices I think I'd be a lot more inclined to cook and not be so attracted to eating out, which food tastes so much better than what I can make. Also I'm seeing more and more articles on the nutritional value of spices, a lot of them have herbal or mineral values that support the immune system, etc so they're not just important for taste reasons. i always seem to have a cabinet full of spices that I got for one recipe or another years ago and never used again because I have no idea really how to, what goes with what. I always end up just reaching for the garlic powder or Lawry's or like that lol. Would be a great promotional especially for those starting on MOMO at their halfway point.
