I love love love being on Jenny, because it doesn't feel so much like a diet as it does a special club you become a part of that teaches you how to make healthy choices and provides you with DELICIOUS foods that you don't have to cook yourself! (I am a reluctant cook, so I LOVE not having to make all my own meals!) I've lost 55 pounds with only 40 left to go.
Here are my tips for your first week:
A.) Follow your planned menu as closely as possible. Every day is nutritionally balanced, so don't switch and swap foods. Keep an open mind about each dish, because you never know what will turn out to be your favorite!
B.) Keep your food schedule carefully so you eat every 2-3 hours. This is important because it keeps your metabolism going, and also since you are probably going to be experiencing a significant drop in daily calories, it keeps you from feeling HUNGRY.
C.) "Volumize" is a big Jenny term that means eating a large volume of food with the lowest calories: VEGGIES! Go to the store and pick out some favorites that you can pile onto your plate with dinner. Salad fixings are also important to make and eat with your lunch every day. And don't forget about those yummy fruit servings!
D.) DRINK TONS OF WATER! This is ever important, because water will flush out your system and actually helps keep your body from retaining water weight. Many of us like to jazz up our water intake by mixing up delicious batches of Crystal Lite (or other zero-cal drink mixes), or buy some Mio (0-cal liquid water enhancer, you can find at your grocery store).
I could probably go on and on and on, but you get the picture.

Along with Hannah's AWESOME tips......just take it one day at a time, and set small goals....like in 10lb increments, that way you wont get overwhelmed by looking at the big picture. Then be sure you reward yourself after every 10 lbs lost with something non-food....like mani/pedi, new earrings, book, movie etc...
Jc really is a simple plan and if you eat everything on your menu, drink plenty of water and exercise, you WILL lose!!!!
Just keep your focus, stay determined and dedicate yourself to be in this for the long haul.
This is a link to one of Hannah's threads....she gives great tip and advice.

My least faves: Brocolli potatoe, none of the shelf stables meals, none of the egg breakfast, beef chow mein and so many others..... but I am a very picky eater, so please dont take my word alone on these. lol. You should try them all at least once. Everybody likes different things.....different strokes for different folks!

And one tip I can give is something my consultant told me when being concerned about the price: add up what you would spend in the grocery store (regular food, sodas, chips, other snacks) and it really isn't that much of a difference. I believe her because when i am "off" the plan and eating out at lunch, I can spend about $50 - $60 a week NOT counting what I spent on the Jenny food. So try and thing of it as an incentive to not waste the food, lol
Good luck!
