I currently have the worse seat at work.. All week there have been girl scout cookies sitting in front of me that my boss is selling. Tuesday was a co-workers birthday there was so much food it took up the four filing cabinets two in front of my desk. Now today is somebody else's birthday so again so much food its on all four filing cabinets again. And they also made meatballs that i've been smelling all morning. Luckily the desserts are in front of me and they are chocolate cake and cheese cakes which i'm not a fan of to begin with. This place is horrible for trying to lose weight there is always a reason to eat in this department...

Hang in their, Dusti! It's got to be tough when the food is literally under your nose.

When I was on JC the first time, I remember we had a couple of people who were chefs and waitresses and they were able to be surrounded by food and do okay.

I was a event/wedding planner so I'd always be at some party or a food tasting and that does make it more difficult.

Your best bet is to make sure you always have water and "free" snacks around (lots of veggies) or low-sodium veggie juice so you always have something to munch and crunch or sip. Plus, when your tummy's full, it does make it easier to just say "no thanks."

You can do this! :) I just wish you didn't have so many temptations staring you in the face. :(

hang in there girl......I know thats a toughie, but you can do it!!! Just think how crappy you will feel after you eat those empty calories...you dont want that guilt.

I always try to remember how GREAT a good weigh in feels and how HORRIBLE a bad weight in is!

I feel for you Dusti!!! You have some big challenges at work - and every time you pass on those empty calories you will be stronger.

Just keep thinking that you will be healthier and happier in the long run!

You can do it! I know how tempting it can be. Maybe if you start bringing in healthy foods, others will follow your lead.
