Welcome Back Tracy, I feel the same way, this is the last time. I had great success in 2006, lost 40lbs.
Life has been crazy and overwhelming the past 2 years. My oldest daughter passed away in April 2010, since then I have gained 50lbs. Dealing with the loss everyday, but I have two younger children that I need to be healthy for, so I decided to finally do something about it. First 2 weeks have been tough, but I've lost 6 pounds and started walking/jogging again. First time in about 2 years. Its a great stress reliever although its much harder being heavier and out of shape. Maybe this time I will try to be on the boards, there are so many nice people here! :)

Karen, welcome back. I can't even imagine what you've been through these last couple of years. You have my sympathy and prayers.

And I believe you WILL do this for the LAST time. You have such wonderful motivation (your remaining children) and your angel of a daughter walking beside you who I'm sure wants her mom to get healthier and stay healthy.

Yes, the boards for me have been a blessing. Great people, lots of support, a couple of laughs, good tips and the knowledge that you're not alone and we'll get through all of this together.

So please do come to the boards as often as possible and congrats for starting to exercise! It WILL get easier as your muscles get used to it and as the weight starts to drop off. You CAN do this! :)

Karen, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Definitely post when you can. There is a great support system here and I found it extremely helpful in my weight loss. You're doing great in losing six pounds in two weeks and already exercising every week. Trust me, keep up your exercise and it will get easier.

Thank you everyone for your support and condolences. I am beginning week three and hopeful I will be disciplined. You all are doing so well and seeing/reading your positive messages and results is motivating! I can't figure out how to add pictures or attachments to my posts. Eventually I will. I know how to put a profile picture on, but unfortunately I havent taken one of myself in over a year, I guess you know why. ;) Again, thanks for your support and I wish everyone a great week. I am going to take advantage of our awesome weather right now and plan to exercise outside this week!

Hi Karen, i just copy/paste right into my comments and if that doesnt work....which sometimes it doesnt, I upload whatever it is I want to post into my files and do it that way.

if you want to add something to your signature, just go up to your name in the right hand corner of this page, in the drop down menu go to settings, then signature.....copy/paste in there. Hope this helps!
