OK, for the boredom factor, it take a little more work but, here are two sites that a couple of very successful JCers put up that are not only about volumizing but re-designing some of the JC meals. They're great!

You know, the funny thing is that I remember thinking how bored I was with the JC food when I was on the program for over a year (actually the boredom set in months before that) but when I thought about it, when I was eating "real" food, I tended to have the same things over and over as well.

I sometimes think that the "boredom" factor is more the fact that we're tired of not having the foods we previously had and just the fact that we KNOW we're limited to certain foods. Anyway, that's my "five-cent shrink advice." LOL

Every time I ask, I get the " I don't know " answer. I just want my cinnamon rolls and a good turkey dinner, that's all. But, have to say lean cuisine has a great turkey dinner out there that I have been eating, and not as expensive. So, just get me my cinnamon rolls back.

I keep hearing about not having the turkey dinner. I'm an at home client and I've been able to order it. I don't know if these are stock that they just didn't send out to the center or if they are the "new" turkey dinners. I agree with those who like it, they are delicious.

I agree...the breakfast pizzas are too expensive. If I had lots of $$$ it would be no problem at all but I am on a VERY limited budget. I got 2 last time and loved them but they will have to be a "treat" for me and not a regular menu item.

I know everyone's loving the breakfast pizza but I'm still not sure if it's a permanent item or some that they brought out and will stop having soon. (They do that alot so they need to hear from people that these pizzas - which I haven't tried yet - are ones that everyone wants to keep. Just my opinion.) :)

I also knew more than my JCC about the new foods, but she hasn't heard anything about when the next ones are coming either. I do know that the Parmesan Crusted Fish is available for logging on the Bodymedia site so I'm thinking that might be the next one, but that's about all I know.

I'm anxious for some new foods too! I do have to agree though that I'd like to see some more dinner options, I'm a fairly picky eater and the options I have available are pretty slim as it is, they're starting to get very repetitive. I've been doing a lot more MOMOs to switch things up, but for those weeks where I feel like I need to be on the full Jenny plan, it would be nice to have some additional options.

I have felt the same thing = the boredome that sets in after a few months on the program. So, as much as it pains me to say this, despite the cost, I'd rather have a break from the boredom.

I always asked to do one MOMO per week on the previous runs with the program and continued to loose. my JCC was okay with that and the point in the one MOMO per week (even right at the beginning of the program) was to keep me from getting sooo bored sooo fast and to allow me to go out to date night with my husband.

I intend on trying the new items but one at a time. if i don't like them, it's only going to waste one item.

Also, this time, I'm not working full time like I was in the past. I'm working part time. So, I'm couponing for my extra grocery foods to keep the money I spend down in general.

Oh, and @phyllis - thank you so much for the links! I definately need that - volumizing and altering the foods slightly definitely helps keep me from getting bored on the program. I plan to blog though my weight loss as well, and hopefully, i'll be able to come up with some recipes on my own!

I got two of the bkfast pizzas as part of my free week of food (the holiday promotion thing). I had one on Sunday. I liked it but got REALLY sick in the afternoon (to my stomach) and don't know if it was the bkfast pizza, as that would seem to be the only thing --- I cooked it in the oven --- the crust got a bit dry on me, actually. I topped it with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and multi colored peppers --- definately needed that. I found it to be better than the other JC bkfasts with egg, but not worth the $ when I can make one at home myself with some whole wheat bread, eggs/egg beaters, low fat cheese and spinach....

I love the new breakfast pizza's.....but unfortunately every time I love something it goes away...lol. I am new to the forums, but not to Jenny. I have lost 69 lbs since May 2011. I am just beginning my new halfway menu planning and am very nervous. Do any of you have any tips you can give me? What do you eat on your days on your own?? Do you know any good cookbooks (I'm in Canada) that you use?? Thanks so much for your help.

I hope so too Alissa - I only got it once before my center was out of it but it was fantastic! I also only got the orange chicken once before my center ran out and they were never able to get it back (no idea why) - I would love to see both of those things back again. Both were wonderful!

At my weigh-in today I asked my JCC about any upcoming foods. She showed me that this morning the new "Banana Fosters Cheesecake" had magically shown up on her ordering screen but they had not received it in stock yet, so she thinks that will be the next item released!

It's hard to tell with Jenny though, they release things kinda willy-nilly. She said she was also expecting the Cinnamon Oatmeal in January and so far, no sign of it. She also had no idea about the parm-crusted fish dinner, so I was more in the loop than her!

I really miss the mixed berry bard. They were delightful and something different but they went away with the other good thing.
