Hi,

I have been working on pushing that scale down to goal, setting mini-goals along the way. But I was reading about how much 10% weight loss is good for your health and I calculated my weight loss percentage.

IT IS 22%. (50/232x100).

And it feels good to be able to toss my old clothes into a bag and take to charity shop and finally fit into all those size 12 and 10 clothes that I had in my closet, sometimes they have been there 3 years. I bought a size 14 Speedo a month ago that fit and I need to try it on to see how it looks now. I finally put the size 18 swimsuit that I never wore except when I bought it. It still had the tags on it.

I have a doctor's appt in March. I am working on getting another 10 pounds off by that appt. It includes bloodwork so I will be looking for some improvements in certain numbers.

Congrats on losing the "fat" clothes so you're not tempted to figure you have something to wear if you should gain weight. Congrats on coming up with such an interesting take on the weight loss percentage too. :)

Keep it up and before you know it, those 10s and 12s will also end up at some thrift store. (Actually, especially with the suits, if you can find a "Dress for Success" http://www.dressforsuccess.org by you, you'll be helping lots of poor ladies who need "work" clothes to go out and find a better job.) :)
