Only .8 Away from Starting Double Digit Loss!!

So I am starting week 6 and to date I'm down 9.2 pounds!!!
While I am celebrating that I'm moving in the right direction, I can't help but feel a little disappointed. I thought I'd be in the double digit weight loss category by now (and I'm SO close). But it will only make me work that much harder this week because I am determined to be down at least 10 pounds in total by next week.
I know I probably sound a bit ungrateful and whiney, but I thought I'd turn to all of you for a little boost in morale.
Thanks,
Kat

This isn't a race, kiddo, it's a marathon and you have the patience and willpower to get there. Just dig it out if necessary. But so far, you're doing FANTABULOUS!!

Good for you for taking a look at the whole picture....thats what counts anyway, your average....and congrats on the loss, the scale is going in the right direction. Keep in mind that when you have no loss or a small one, its probably nothing you did....it could be hormones, water weight from too much sodium, exercise, meds....many things. It will all balance out though, you are doing GREAT!

Melissa is right, I just need patience! And Phyllis is right, I've got a marathon and not a sprint coming up with this weight loss, so slow and steady wins the race. I think the only reason I was feeling bummed this morning is because my husband and I are going to Mexico for a delayed anniversary celebration in March and I really wanted to be a bit smaller for this trip. But I'm realizing what I lose before the trip is pounds I didn't gain so I'm ahead of myself!
