So I am a little confused....can you switch out any modular item? For example, if cake was listed but I really wanted popcorn, is that ok?

You mean, if you want to swap snacks can you do that? Absolutely! Many of us go with a completely personalized menu so if we want brownies all week, we'll have that.

So if you want popcorn, go forth and crunch! :)

Mainegirl, as stated already, yes you can. What you can do for now on is go over your menu with your jcc ahead of time and scratch off what you dont want, and add the things you want instead. You never have to settle for ANYTHING you dont like, or if you would rather have another item, you can always switch them out.

Thanks, Ladies! What I meant was if my card lists "cake" for something I should eat today and there is a little "M" next to it, can I eat a difference snack in place of the cake if that snack is also listed as a modular item as the cake is?

I've never understood what a 'modular' item was. This is in the success made simple guide.

What if I don't care for one of the grocery foods on my menu?

Any food not listed in boldfaced type on your menu may easily be traded for another in the same food group. (go to Jenny's Grocery List or ask your consultant for suggestions.)

Basically, any snack can be substituted for any other snack, any dinner for any dinner, etc.

Hope this helps.

Susan

I agree, Susanjt - the modular concept is confusing to me too.

The modular concept is when they have several of the same types of food in different "flavor" for instance the cakes (chocolate and lemon), the salad kits (chicken and tuna), the stuffed sandwhiches (meatball and chicken), etc. The idea with the planned menus is that for the modular items you can choose either of the selections.

Of course as mentioned above, you can really switch out any of the items for another. The calories counts for the most part are very close.

Blair - thanks for explaining. No one ever explained that one to me...makes sense since some of the planned menus are a little different that a personalized menu or require adding stuff. Susan
