hi all my jennys,
i 1st jioned 10 years ago ,and i reached goal ,but now i gain it all back ,so i rejioned jenny ,is it only me or has the portion size of the meals gotten smaller ? my favorite dinner was the fish and chips but i had it last night and i
swear it was 2 tiny pc of fish and 4 chips and im always hugrey any advice?

Welcome back emi!

I'm pretty sure the meals are the same as they were yrs ago...at least from what I remember, but the difference is NOW with all the "value meals" and "super size" options out there now days, jc meals look smaller. lol.

I SO remember thinking just like you when I first started.....I even made that very same comment to my hubby about the fish and chips.....but you know what? It wont be long before that very meal will satisfy you and will be wondering how you ever ate more than that.....so with that said, hang in there girl.....its not uncommon to feel hungry in the beginning. You ahve to retrain ur brain. Be sure you volumize ur meals too.....really makes a difference!

Why you sure can Carol!!! Welcome back......you did it once and you CAN do it again!

No reason to be scared....you have to look at it like what else would you be doing anyways, nothing but getting bigger more than likely.....like we all did before jc.....so YAY for you hun, you made a GREAT choice!!!!

No, I think it's the quality control.

Some boxes of food are considerably larger than others.

As for being hungry, try volumizing. Two of our very successful JC ladies put together some great recipes that will help with filling you up and with changing up the food to avoid boredom.

Hang in there! It does get easier. And you already know it works, so go for it! :)

Hi. I was on Jenny a few years ago, with great success (40lbs). But like others, thought i could finish the last 10 by myself... Did ok for a year but then the weight crept back. I've regained 30 of those blasted pounds and am miserable. I'm debating whether or not to come back to Jenny. Part of me thinks I can do this alone, but part of me wants to have the food planned out for a while to regain control. I'd appreciate any feedback from this group. (funny, the login for this website still id active - it that a sign?!?)

Come back, Roseann! So many of us have had to do it.

I kept the weight off for about four years, did something stupid, gained back around 10, returned to JC and then took that weight off and have been maintaining for over six months again.

My only regret is that when that weight started to go past the five-pound mark that I didn't return then but that's either going to be the last time my weight goes up and/or I don't immediately run back to JC to lose five pounds and to get a "refresher course" in eating right.

Do it! You'll be glad you did. And you're already ahead of the game because you know the plan works.

And when you do, come to the boards often. You'll find great support here. :)

I agree with 'I called Jenny' (Phyllis)....Come back Roseann before your weight gets WAY out of control. You know you CAN do it again and feel absolutely PHENOMENAL once again!!!!

Ok - you both said the right thing... I just called my center and made an appointment for this afternoon! Actually my consultant is still there, so i'll be able to work with her once again (she is terrific!). I'm getting excited to start looking and feeling better! This time, I plan to visit the forums for support. Didn't do that last time and it would've made the journey easier I think.
Thanks for listening and helping me decide, Roseann
