Some of them are on a month-to-month basis and that might be fine if you have say 20 lbs. or so to lose. But those plans won't help you once you hit maintenance. The other, more comprehensive plans, are better if you have more weight to lose because you'll be able to continue to have counseling sessions even after you've hit goal and then you can renew your program for a small annual fee. It's what I did. It was my insurance policy so to speak.
And last year when I gained back 10 lbs. after keeping the weight off for more than three years, it was nice to be able to return, meet with my consultant, buy the food and take the weight back off.
But don't feel as if you have to be pressured. Just listen, ask questions and then decide what's going to be best for you.
And come to the boards and ask for advice if you want. We'll be happy to give you as much input as we can.
But congrats on making the decision to talk to the folks at JC. It's a fantastic program and one I highly recommend.
