It was disappointing to see a 1.4 gain, I thought that would be my loss. Embarrassing but I cried over it. My consultant said it was probably the excess sodium the very day before, when on Sundays I normally don't go out because I know I'm coming in the next day. Plus, I know I'm expecting my time of the month. Ugh. It should be any day now. It was this week last month so I know it's coming. But it was an unexpected disappointment, so unexpected that it made me cry. After talking to my consultant, who was so nice, hugged me, closed the door when I kind of lost it, the center director also talked to me too. Remember she called me last week, which was a nice surprise? She talked to me, and looked at my printout of everything I ate the week. (Not sure if I shared but I write out every little thing I eat), and she noticed little things here and there to work on. I've already made huge adjustments this past month and I lost weight the last 4 weigh ins in a row, when I had eaten even worse, or hadn't walked as much as this past week, so that was another reason it was an unexpected disappointment. I walked longer and more frequent walks, then the previous weeks, and I only ate off the diet twice, when previous weeks it had been 3-4 times I ate a little off. But this time, even though I thought I did a lot better than previous weeks, I wound up having a 1.4 gain. It was ridiculous to me. I wasn't mad, I was just really disappointed and it made no sense. But then thinking about it, and calming down, talking to my consultant, I had eaten a little off the very day before when I normally don't. Plus like I said I should be starting my period any day now, so of course I'm hormoning right now, which probably was the reason for most of those tears, haha.
So today, I had the scramble, 2 tangerines, Anytime Bar, Rotini w/ baby carrots, some beef jerky and water. And I'm doing just fine! It's a cold rainy day here so I haven't gone out on a walk.
I'm thinking of buying this indoor machine, it's $999 bucks though, but I'm looking into it. It's called the Bowflex TredClimber. It looks really good. My kind of thing.

I'm open for some snack ideas! I like beef jerky and crackers, so something in that relm.... pita chips are a favorite of mine too.

Hey gail,
Don't worry about the gain, especially since you're about to get your monthly gift. It is for sure that. The tread limber I my favorite! They have one at my gym and I love it! I would recommend it. Not sure if that home one is different or not. Keep on track youll lose next week!
God bless,
Kayla

Hey girls, I too have 70lbs to lose. My favorite thing that keeps me from getting crazy after dinner are the mini cafe twists from trader joes. They are so good, and only 30 calories each. Just thought I would share! Love all the ideas and support in this room!

Sounds yummy! I'll have to look for them. Do you buy them in a supermarket, health food store or where?

Guess what? I am able to fit into a smaller pair of pants, and a smaller size bra. My inches are going down! Also noticed my wedding ring and engagement ring are looser, and I may need to get my glasses readjusted. Changes are happening!

Just wanting to say Hi, I'm hanging in there, having a good week I think. I thought I had a great week last week though but had a weight gain, so I don't know what to expect anymore. I did go get my glasses readjusted yesterday. I have a few things coming up next week, but I don't want to ruin my progress so I am going to make sure I don't blow it. My husband and I have plans to go out Valentine's Day, and then we're going out of town Fri-Sun next weekend.

I've been told by multiple people my weight gain was probably not even fat, maybe water or even muscle from my extra frequent walks. Still expecting my period though too so that could've been a factor. Hopefully a weight loss this Monday though after all the walking and eating right I've done this week.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Is today a holiday for you? It is for us!! : ) I am really anxious and excited for my weigh in tonight. I did so well this past week, especially after my 1.4 gain last week. My only concern is my time of the month started this morning, I hope that doesn't affect my results, but I think I'll be fine. I definitely see a change in my clothes again this week. I'm going pants shopping today! : )

4.8 lost tonight!!!!! Wow huh? I was surprised. I thought it'd be 2.something. After last week's very disappointing and shocking gain which brought me to tears, my hard work really paid off this week, eating right and going on walks. And you know what? I finally hit it. Finally hit the 10 lb lost mark. I'm at 12.6 lost since Jan 3rd. : )

Thank you!!! Even though I did great last week and had a great weight loss last night, today has started out a little tough! I'm hungry!!! I'm hungry still even though I've eaten exactly what I've eaten before, JC Breakfast Scramble, 2 tangerines, 3 Graham Crackers, a V8, and I'm hungry again. In about 1 1/2 hrs I'll have my lunch though.

But it really helps so much to get that extra push both here in the forums, and in person, and I truly appreciate getting that motivation to keep it going. I want to be able to come on here after my weigh ins with great news, and to help all of you to have the same success! : )

Don't eat too much Valentine's Day chocolates haha! : )

Yay Lisa!!! Way to go! 2.8 is awesome!!! And guess what Lisa? I see on your Weight Loss Ticker you're almost out of the 250s! So double high fives for you!! I hope that's what I lose at my next weigh in. I'm about to head out of town til Sunday. I sure hope I don't over do it. I'm actually bringing Jenny Craig snacks for the road and hotel room. I'm sure I'll do just fine though, can't wait for a fun weekend getaway!

Keep it up everyone, have a great weekend! : )

Ok, well my weekend getaway out of town is over. I ate off my diet 3 meals. But my snacks and not all the meals were off the diet. It could've gone much worse. I'm hoping for good news at my weigh in tonight.

How are you all doing? : )
